Jeff and Seb back at their high school, filming a TV special

Jeff and Sebastien took a trip down memory lane yesterday, when they stepped into the hallways of their high school College Beaubois. This is a very important institute in the Simple Plan history, as four members of Simple Plan (all except David) met on the school grounds there (even despite being in different grades), and it’s also where some of them started being encouraged to give music a shot.

The two members of Simple Plan were at College Beaubois in Pierrefonds, Quebec yesterday to film a special TV documentary called Sucré Salé, hosted by Patrice Bélanger, which covers events of Quebec’s cultural scene. According to Jeff, the episode featuring Simple Plan will air on June 2nd at 6:30pm on TVA.

Simple Plan’s lead singer, Pierre Bouvier, is celebrating his 38th birthday today. On behalf of SimplePlan.cz I’d like to wish him all the best, lots of happiness, good health, love, time spent with his family, success for years to come and the best time possible on the upcoming tour – which starts just in a couple weeks!

Happy birthday, Pierre!

New vlog recaps Chuck’s stagediving adventures on U.S. NPNHJB tour

One of the hightlights of the 15th anniversary No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour is most definitely the moment during Grow Up, when Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau switch their places and while Pierre starts hitting the drums, Chuck dives into the crowd and crowdsurfes for pretty much the rest of the song.

The boys just released a recap video of some great footage by Chady, who captures these moments on the U.S. tour on camera. Europe, get ready for this in just a few weeks:

VIDEO: Chuck Comeau and his father André interviewed by UMQ

Earlier this week, Chuck Comeau arrived to Montreal to take part in the second day of the Assises conference of the Union of Quebec municipalities (UMQ), where alongside his bandmate Sebastien and his father André, as the representatives of the Simple Plan Foundation, they spoke about their plan to help create summer jobs in the Quebec area [see pictures from this event here].

While at this event, Chuck and his father André were interviewed by the UMQ for their YouTube channel. In the interview, the two discussed the project in more detail. The Foundation will help finance the work positions for young people, by purchasing things they will be needing, such as various equipment, helmets, boots… They also mentioned for example how special and rewarding it is to meet young people that they have helped in the past to have a chance that they would not have had otherwise (thanks Emilie for the translation).

As you could’ve read yesterday, as the representatives of the Simple Plan Foundation, Sebastien and Chuck from Simple Plan along with Chuck’s father André Comeau attended yesterday’s annual meeting of Quebec’s municipalities.
