Aerodrome Festival in Prague close to being sold out!

The promoters of the Aerodrome Festival which will be taking place in Prague, Czech Republic on June 11th announced that only 4 000 tickets are now left for the festival!

The total number of tickets which went on sale for this festival, which apart from Simple Plan will also feature bands like Linkin Park, Royal Republic, Enter Shikari, Machine Gun Kelly, Mallory Knox and Counterfeit, is 25 000 tickets.

The front of stage sector of the festival, which included 6 000 tickets has been sold-out since January, way before any of the other acts besides Linkin Park have been announced (incl. Simple Plan).

Simple Plan announce Canadian leg of NPNHJB tour!

After the United States, Europe and once again the United States, it was finally time for Simple Plan’s homeland Canada to get the NPNHJB tour treatment! The band just announced that they will be touring Canada with this tour in September and unlike the TOFTT tour they will be hitting much more places!

Simple Plan will kick off the Canadian leg of the NPNHJB tour in Vancouver and will then visit cities like Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay, Guelph, Hamilton, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and finally Ottawa. Tickets go on sale this Thursday, April 13th.

The opening bands for this tour will be Courage My Love and Selfish Things with the band Not By Choice opening in Toronto.

Set It Off: “Simple Plan were a pivotal band for us joining the genre!”

For almost a month now, Simple Plan have been on their No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour in the United States accompanied by two opening acts: Seaway from Canada and Set It Off from the U.S. Dan Clermont, the guitarist for Set It Off recently spoke to Troy L. Smith of Cleveland.com, and in the interview he mentioned how excited the band was to get the chance to tour with Simple Plan.

Set It Off will be opening for Simple Plan until the end of the No Pads tour in mid-April and will later rejoin them on the second leg of the tour in the U.S. in August [tickets on sale now – see all the tourdates here].

Simple Plan honored Blink 182 with an ‘All The Small Things’ cover at Lawrence soundcheck

To celebrate Pierre’s newly reached 182 000 followers on his Instagram, he and his band decided to pay respect to this very important pop-punk number – 182 – by performing a cover of one of their most influential bands of their early beginnings: Blink 182.

Simple Plan performed the cover of Blink 182’s hit ‘All The Small Things’ at the soundcheck in Lawrence, KS yesterday and captured it on a video that was featured on Pierre’s Instagram Stories (thx SPB for putting it up). Check it out below:
