Simple Plan returned to Quebec City

For the second show of their TOFTT tour in Canada, Simple Plan headed to Quebec City, where they performed in the Centre Videotron arena. Thanks to Felicia and Emilie we already know that the setlist was the same as in London, ON two nights before, which means the band seems to be keeping ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed’ on the setlist [even though the guys didn’t play the song almost at all in any of the other TOFTT shows]. This is probably because of how well the song has been doing on Canadian radio ever since its release. However, despite being in the francophone part of Canada for this show, they kept ‘Bed’ in English, even though ‘Jet Lag’ was performed in its French version.

Simple Plan kick off Canadian TOFTT tour in London, ON

Due to Pierre’s vocal issues, which forced the band to reschedule their Canadian tour from November to March, it took Simple Plan over a year since the release of their latest record Taking One For The Team, to actually do a proper tour with this album in Canada. But here they are!

After playing the first NPNHJB show in the U.S. on Friday, the guys headed back home to Canada, to London, ON in particular to start their Canadian tour. During this short TOFTT tour the band will visit 4 cities in total – London, Quebec City, Toronto and Montreal, before heading back to the U.S. to continue with the NPNHJB tour.

Last night the band took the stage in London, ON and performed the following setlist (update: Simple Plan apparently also added ‘I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed’ to the setlist even though it wasn’t featured on the printed setlist)

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump (‚I Gotta Feeling’ snippet)
4. I’d Do Anything

VIDEO: Simple Plan perform ‘One Day’ live in NYC

Ever since Simple Plan announced they would be doing a No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour, it seemed like the fanbase was most excited to hear the song ‘One Day’ live, as it was one of the very few songs on that album that hasn’t been played live in a very very long time.

So as it’s a real fan-favorite, have fun enjoying this first released video of ‘One Day’ at the first NPNHJB show in New York City:
