Jeff: “We are one of the biggest rock bands in the Czech Republic because of SimplePlan.cz”

This early morning, Jeff and Pierre visited the Salut Bonjour TV studios together to give an interview in this morning talk show. And thanks to Emilie we found out that Jeff has actually mentioned SimplePlan.cz in his speech about the Simple Plan fans – and had the nicest things to say about it.

Jeff: The fans around the world gather and talk about the band. For example, the popularity of the band in Czech Republic is based only on one site which feeds the fans. She cultivates the promotion of the band, the girl’s called Dominika, she has begun it all over there. We are one of the biggest rock bands in the Czech Republic because of her.
Host: Have you ever met her?
Jeff: We meet her often.
Pierre: We know her.
Jeff: She’s like the president of our European fanclub.

Simple Plan to perform at Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park in June!

Simple Plan are not yet done with announcing all the European dates it seems! The band has just been confirmed as one of the acts, who will perform at this year’s edition of the popular German festivals called Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park.

The festivals takes place in Nürburg, Germany from June 2nd to June 4th. Due to Simple Plan’s show in Switzerland on June 3rd, the band will be performing at one of the festivals on June 2nd and on the other one on June 4th. More details to be revealed later.

Pierre brings No Pads vibes with a short ‘One Day’ performance

If you don’t follow Pierre Bouvier on Instagram (@pierrebouvier) you might soon miss out on the new video he posted on his Instagram Stories, in which he reminisced about the No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls times with a short but sweet performance of ‘One Day’.

‘One Day’ is one of he songs we don’t usually hear on Simple Plan’s setlist and therefore is highly awaited at the upcoming NPNHJB tour. On this tour, which has so far been announed for the USA and Europe (see all dates here), Simple Plan will perform the whole NPNHJB album front to back and then come back to also perform their traditional greatest hits.

Chuck got up early on Thursday to get to the Centre Bell arena in Montreal, Canada, where his band will be performing again next month, to play a litle bit of hockey with his old friend Patrick Langlois.

Two more U.S. No Pads shows sold-out: Denver and Detroit!

Just like last year’s Simple Plan U.S. tour, the band’s 2017 NPNHJB tour in the USA will very likely be almost all, if not all sold out by the time it starts in less than a month!

After New York, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale, Boston, Baltimore and Chicago, two more concerts of the U.S. leg of the NPNHJB tour have just been announced to be sold out – and those are Denver and Detroit!

Make sure to get your tickets to the remaining shows while you still can – not many tickets are left! Check out all the tourdates here.
