As a part of Throwback Thursday, Simple Plan published a very old-school picture of all its members yesterday, which was taken during the recording sessions or SP’s debut album – ‘No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls’ in 2001. That means the guys were only in their early 20s, when this picture was taken.

Alternative Press released a new article, in which the magazine’s editors looked at the alternative music scene’s past music videos and tried to find the best ones that were set in high school. The final list that includes 15 bands’ music videos cannot be missing the good old classics, such as Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’, Paramore’s ‘Misery Business’, My Chemical Romance’s ‘I’m Not Okay’… and of course: Simple Plan’s ‘I’m Just A Kid’, which will coincidentally also celebrate 15 years since its release this year!
However, ‘I’m Just A Kid’ also wasn’t the only music video by Simple Plan that was set in high school – in 2011 the band made a return to the high school grounds for prom, which was the main theme of the music video for ‘Can’t Keep My Hands Off You’.

“I’M JUST A KID” – SIMPLE PLAN (2002)
If there were ever a song that perfectly described the youthful sentiment of “Nobody understands me!” this would be it. Filled with Schadenfreude, the video features the members of the band getting injured while trying to win over the same girl, while the nerd gets the girl in the end.
FUN FACT: “I’m Just A Kid” has been featured in three different movies: Grind, The New Guy and Cheaper By The Dozen.
When Simple Plan visited Billboard’s studios in NYC this past August and did a performance of a couple songs – old and new, which were streamed live on Facebook, they had no idea that that livestream would in fact become one of the 10 most viewed livestreams Billboard has done in all of 2016!
Billboard has just released a recap video of the TOP 10 most viewed livestreams and Simple Plan reached number 10 with 264 000 views! Check out the full list of all the TOP most viewed livestreams on Billboard in 2016 as well as the recap video below:
A number of fans from around the world recently sent SimplePlan.cz pictures from their encounters with the members of Simple Plan throughout 2016 and you can now have a look at them yourself below. There awesome pictures include pizza parties in Jakarta (Indonesia) and Bilbao (Spain), soundcheck party in Mexico City (Mexico) and also at the SMAC festival in Switzerland.

The Indonesian radio station Istara FM published a brand new video, which apart from scenes from Simple Plan’s music video for ‘Perfectly Perfect’ also features a short shout-out by Pierre, Chuck and Sebastien to this radio station.
