David to be back on the road in 2017

The South American tour is behind us and it was the first time for a rather longer while, when Simple Plan had to tour with only 4 members, as David excused himself from the tour due to personal reasons [read more here]. So naturally, for the past few weeks, many fans, who missed the news of David’s short absence became quite worried when they didn’t see him on any of the pictures from South America.

That was unnecessary though. Now that the tour is over, Pierre shared another picture of the 4 members of Simple Plan, who attended this tour and with it he also confirmed that David will indeed be back on tour with Simple Plan at the next shows, which are coming up in 2017 [first ones as of right now are announced for March in Canada].

Read what exactly Pierre wrote and check out the new photoshoot Pierre, Jeff, Chuck and Seb did in Buenos Ares below:

“I’m proud of the 4 of us for holding down the fort while David was out of commission. We kicked some ass and managed to have some fun in the process. Looking forward to having the original five back on the road in 2017.” – Pierre Bouvier

PVRIS to support Simple Plan on Canadian tour in March

Even though the rescheduling of Simple Plan’s Canadian tour to March may have come as a disappointment to some fans, because they wouldn’t get to see SP with the awesome line-up of All Time Low and PVRIS together, today’s news may brigten up their days again! That is because PVRIS may in fact be touring with Simple Plan “again”.

In the past few days, PVRIS’ name has been recently added on various websites in regards to the Simple Plan tour in Canada in March. The band’s name now appears alongside the dates for Montreal and Toronto on Ticketmaster [see here] and the date in London on TicketFly [see here].

At this moment, there is no mention of PVRIS when it comes to the last remaining date (Quebec City, March 13th 2017), however if PVRIS are touring with Simple Plan on the rest of the tour, it is very probable that they will join them on the Quebec City date as well.

As for now, neither of the bands have mentioned anything about PVRIS joining the Simple Plan tour, but it is possible the official announcement will be coming very shortly.

See all info about the upcoming Canadian tour below [once PVRIS are officially confirmed, I will add them as the support act]:
