Jeff reveals a better photo of his new tattoo

For the past few months, Jeff has been slowly working on getting his whole right arm tattooed and finally with the new images coming from the shows in Brazil, we’re finally getting a better look at what the tattoo looks like in real life – all colored in. Besides the new photo, Jeff also revealed that he called his new tattoo “Arthur”, so for future references, that’s what you can call it too :)

Simple Plan change setlist for Rio de Janeiro

The guys from Simple Plan arrived to Rio de Janeiro yesterday and their first steps led them to the Copacabana beach. After hanging out there in the sunshine for a bit, the guys headed to the Circo Voador venue, where they gave some interviews, hung out with fans and prepared for the night’s show. Check out some pictures from SP’s first day in Rio this year:

And finally, it was time for the show in one of Brazil’s biggest cities to begin. Herby Moreau captured this cool video of the moments right before the start of the show. Check it out here:

PHOTO: Chady plays Seb’s guitar on stage

If you read SimplePlan.cz’s review of last night’s show in Belo Horizonte, you already know that since Sebastien is sometimes required to replace David on bass, someone else has to play the guitar. As as Chady, Simple Plan’s cinematographer, has a musical background (Chady used to play in a band called Red October), during this tour he helps out the band by playing Seb’s guitar.

Today, Chady posted a gorgeous new picture documenting this interesting switch on the stage – check it out in the gallery:

Simple Plan confirm David is doing well

Even though the members of the band have already previously confirmed that David is not going anywhere and that they are still a band that consists of five members, some fans still needed some more reassurance about how David is doing, after his announcement that due to personal reasons he won’t be able to take part in the whole South American tour.

And obviously, due to the fact that the fans have no knowledge of whether these personal problems are concerning David’s health or whether it’s something of different nature, they were understandably very worried.

That is why today, after the four members of Simple Plan published a selfie together at an airport, when heading to Rio de Janeiro, one of the fans decided to ask SP what was going on. And to a great surprise Simple Plan responded to this comment [in French] saying “David is doing well. Everything is OK.”

Around the same time, David personally commented on one of Jeff’s latest pictures on Instagram, saying “I feel like you’ll be having a caipirinha or two! Be safe out there! ;)”

Hopefully this will come as another reassurance that everything is alright and David will be back with his bandmates on tour in the new year.
