Time schedule for Vivo X El Rock revealed

Fans who are heading to the Peruvian music festival Vivo X El Rock on December 17th might be interested in the time schedule of the bands that has just been confirmed. The festival will offer the attendees two stages – Monster and Bitel.

Simple Plan will be performing a 70-minute set (from 5:30 to 6:40pm) on the Monster stage, which also features other known acts. Before SP, the fans will be able to enjoy Hoobastank and after them they can expect to see Papa Roach or The Cranberries. Sum 41, who are also a part of this festival will be perfoming on the second stage, Bitel, right after Simple Plan set ends. Fans of both bands should therefore be able to check out both SP and Sum 41 if they wish.

Simple Plan to play at Canada Day celebrations in Ontario

Simple Plan’s summer plans are slowly getting busier and busier! Looks like right after they finish their short stay in Europe in June [which is still expected to include more than the two already announced festivals], the band will be returning to Canada, where they have just been announced as one of the acts that will take part in the 8-day Stars and Thunder: Timmins International Fireworks Competition & Music Festival in Timmins, Ontario.

The festival is bringing in quite a number of big names – with Keith Urban as the headliner of the festival performing on Canada Day, July 1st. Simple Plan will be performing at the festival a couple days earlier – on June 27th, the same day as Lights.

Pierre and family at another Odysseo show premiere

Last week, Pierre took his two little girls Lennon and Soren, as well as his wife Lachelle to another opening of Cavalia’s production of Odysseo, which is a theatrical show that incorporates horses [check out their pictures from this premiere in the gallery].

And besides attending the show, Pierre also gave a short interview about his and his daughters’ feelings about the show, which you can check out below:

VIDEO: Jeff discusses his experience with playing the guitar

Alternative Press recently filmed a video with Jeff Stinco from Simple Plan, which became a part of their Six String Stories series on YouTube. In the video, Jeff talks about his relationship with guitars, tips for new guitarists that are starting out and shares lots of memories of his first experience with this intrument.
