A couple weeks ago, you could read on SimplePlan.cz first about Jeff’s involvement with the “Tendre La Main” (“Helping Hands”) book project, for which Dr. Jean-Paul Brutus asked a number of local Canadian personalities to be photographed and document the way these people use their hands to help other people, to work and to communicate.
Jeff, as of course the lead guitarist of Simple Plan, agreed to take part in this project, who’s proceeds will be used to support the activities of the Les Impatients Foundation, which assists people sufferring from mental health issues through artistic expression [more information about the Tendre La Main project can be found here].
We already had one picture of Jeff’s hands from a trailer video, but now in the gallery, you can now check out a number of new photos of Jeff’s face in high quality that were taken for the purposes of this book:
With this year’s Ball’s theme being “Dessine-moi la paix” (“Draw me peace”), the organizers of the event asked a number of local artists – musicians, writers and actors – to each write a text about peace, which will then serve local visual arts artists as inspiration to create settings for the Ball dining rooms.
