VIDEO: Simple Plan soundcheck for Concert For A Cure

Simple Plan continue with their shorrt acoustic run after their U.S. tour, in which they’re hitting a couple of events for a good cause, such as the one in Dayton, Ohio yesterday called Concert For A Cure, which was held to support women affected by cancer.

The golden “acoustic trio” – aka Jeff, Seb and Pierre performed their short acoustic setlist at the Dayton Convention Center. And while you can already check out a few images from the show in the gallery, have a look at the following short video of the guys getting their stage ready for the show below:

Pretty In Pink: Simple Plan performed at a charity event

Even though their official U.S. tour has concluded, Simple Plan are still in the United States, where they had 3 more charity events to attend. The first event called Pretty In Pink (as announced a few weeks ago) took place yesterday in Laotto, Indiana. Besides their performance, Simple Plan also donated a signed guitar to the raffle, which helped raise money from this event, which will be going to the Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.

As their performance was only an acoustic one, Simple Plan weren’t in their full quintet but only Jeff, Sebastien and Pierre were there to perform a 7-songs-long setlist of the following tracks:

1. I’d Do Anything
2. Welcome To My Life
3. Jet Lag
4. Addicted
5. Shut Up
6. Singing In The Rain
7. Perfect

The radio station 97.3 WMEE, which hosted the event, already released almost 200 pictures from SP’s performance on their Facebook page. Check them out now in our gallery:

21 Alive also already reported about this event on their news – check out the video coverage from the SP show:

Music video for ‘Perfectly Perfect’ to reveal stories of diverse couples

For a while now, Simple Plan fans have been aware that the band is releasing the song ‘Perfectly Perfect’ as their 3rd official single from Taking One For The Team. Uptil now, though, it was unknown when the band would start working on an accompanying music video.

Yesterday finally the band released a call to their Canadian fans on Twitter with a link to a Facebook post, which promised to reveal the details of their new music video for ‘Perfectly Perfect’ and how the fans can be a part of it. Unfortunately, the post is geo-blocked to the local residents, but that doesn’t stop us from getting to know what it contains!

The concept of the music video will be based on black and white images of couples of all ages (over 17 years old), nationalities, sexual orientations and gender identity, who will be asked to share their stories on camera, in order to represent the positive message of the song [read more about the meaning of ‘Perfectly Perfect’ here].

The music video will be recorded on October 22nd in Montreal, Canada and the fans interested in participating in the video have been asked to send a picture of themselves and their partner with a short description of themselves to the following e-mail address: spvideo2016@gmail.com.

This won’t be the first time that Simple Plan fans will be able to take part in a Simple Plan videoshoot. The fans were previously involved in such videos as ‘Opinion Overload’, ‘Singing In The Rain’, ‘Jet Lag’, ‘Boom’ and of course most notably ‘This Song Saved My Life’
