New HQ photoshoots from Europe

With the recent anouncements of upcoming Simple Plan tours across Asia, U.S., Canada and South America, many media sources have been sent high resolution photos of Simple Plan, mostly taken by Chady Awad during their recent European tour.

And while we’ve seen most of these images before, we definitely haven’t seen them in this quality. Check them out in the gallery – if you like to print out photos or perhaps put them up as your wallpapers, these might do the trick even better than before:

New pre-Blink show interview with Pierre and David

Before the recent show in Winnipeg, Canada, where Simple Plan opened for Blink 182, a host of the radio station Kiss 102.3 got to interview Pierre and David for a couple of minutes and as a result we have a brand new fun interview here!

Among the topics the guys discussed was partying on the road, most-wanted collaboration that is yet to happen, choosing the songs for the setlist, the music video for Singing In The Rain and much more. Watch it all on the video below:

Simple Plan finish acoustic promo tour in Colorado

On Saturday, Pierre, David, Jeff and Seb played the last two sets of their acoustic promo run across the American radio stations – in Fort Collins, CO and Colorado Springs, CO. Initially, Pierre announced on his Instagram that both of these shows were free, however after finding out the Colorado Springs festival had an entrance fee, he did something incredibly nice: firstly, he deeply apologized for the mistake and invited fans in the area who didn’t have the money to enter the festival to comment on his post, promising to make sure to get them in.

Check out the first pictures from both of the acoustic concerts: firstly the one for 99.9 The Point in Fort Collins, and then the first ones from the Steers and Beers festival in Colorado Springs:

Simple Plan to perform at a festival in Arizona in October

Before Simple Plan head out on their headlining tour across the United States in October, which will kick off in California, they will unofficially start their U.S. stay in the fall in Arizona. The band has just been added to the line-up of the Oro Valley Music Festival in Tuscon, AZ, where they will perform on the festival’s second day (Sunday, October 2nd). Other acts that will perform that day include Daughtry and Ben Rector.

Simple Plan performed ‘My Alien’ and ‘Untitled’ in Denver

On Friday, July 8th, Simple Plan made a grand return to Denver, CO where they had another acoustic date scheduled at Tavern Downtown for the radio station Alice 105.9. The show was free, the attendance was huge and the responses on social media were incredible – the foursome brought back lots of nostalgia with their cleverly thought-up setlist, which once again included mostly old tracks. And as a big surprise, the band performed two songs which they do not play as a part of their live sets very often – ‘My Alien’ and ‘Untitled’.

The full setlist was as follows (out of order):

1. I’d Do Anything
2. Addicted
3. I’m Just A Kid
4. (party medley)
5. My Alien
6. Singing In The Rain
7. Untitled
8. Perfect

Some of the attendees took videos of the rarities played in Denver, so below you can check out both ‘My Alien’ and ‘Untitled’:
