Another U.S. set announced: in Denver

Before Simple Plan head over to Fort Collins, CO, the boys will make a stop in Denver, CO to perform at the Live@Five show presented by radio station Alice 105.9. It will take place at the Tavern Downtown bar and is open to public free of charge.

The concert is scheduled just a day after the Winnipeg show, where Simple Plan are opening for Blink-182 and since it is expected that Chuck will be there for that event, it’s possible he could be at the Denver show too. That means it’s currently unknown whether the Denver set is an acoustic performance or not.

PHOTOS: Simple Plan present their acoustic jams to Florida

In the past few days, Simple Plan have visited a number of cities in the state of Florida, in the United States, where Pierre, Seb, David and Jeff performed for lots of fans acoustically. On Thursday, the four members of Simple Plan arrived to Orlando, where they performed at the Acoustic Summer event organized by the radio station Mix 105.1 in support of the victims of the recent tragedy at Orlando’s Pulse night club. You can have a look at the backstage view of their performance on the video captured by one of their former roadies Tim below:

Our reader Laura also sent us her video of the final song of the evening as always – ‘Perfect’. Check it out:

The next day, yesterday, Simple Plan had a little bit of a beach day. They had two radio events scheduled for that day – one for 93.7 WGYL in Vero Beach, FL and the second one taking place later that day – 97.9 WRMF’s Dirty Martini in Palm Beach, FL.

You can now have a look at over a hundred new pictures from all of these events in the SimplePlan.cz gallery:

Snippet of the French version of “Singing In The Rain”

For a little over a month now, the inhabitant of French-speaking territories, such as Canada or France, have been able to listen to the French version of ‘Singing In The Rain’, which the band released on Spotify in May and which is also being played at several French/Canadian radios. The song should also be available on Canadian iTunes.

The bad news is that the French version of the song on Spotify is geo-blocked and the rest of the world isn’t therefore capable to checking this version out [instead, these people will hear the regular English version of SITR]. The reason for it being that this version is only aimed at the French-speaking market.

However, Simple Plan’s photographer Chady recently posted a video on his Instagram, in which you can hear a snippet of the French version of Singing In The Rain play in the background. So if you haven’t heard it before, check it out:

From Bonita Springs, the guys from Simple Plan headed to Tampa, FL yesterday for a second performance of the day, which took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Check out some of the cool pictures from this event in the gallery:

The whole event was organized by the radio station Mix 100.7, which broadcasted a part of the event live on their Facebook page. Below, you can check out a clip, in which SP talk about their latest single ‘Singing In The Rain’ and Pierre is then asked to do a “dramatic reading” of the song. See how he dealt with that here:
