Promo video for Mexican tour

In July, Simple Plan will be heading back to Mexico [see all the details here], to play four shows across the country – and it seems like Mexican fans are really excited. The tickets went on sale recently and are selling out fast. Plus, the VIP tickets for the pizza party were sold-out in less than an hour! With that in mind, the band decided to add more spots for the pizza party.

Check out the following promo video which invites fans for the Simple Plan tour in Mexico:

Simple Plan returned to Norway with ‘Me Against The World’

Last night Simple Plan said hello to their fans in Oslo, Norway but unfortunately also had to say their goodbyes to their opening bands The Bottom Line and ROAM, who due to high costs of travelling with their equipment to the remaining countries on the tour, were not able to continue to play the remaining dates of the TOFTT tour. But both opening bands made sere to go out with a bang. Their sets were on fire, Pierre was even seen watching The Bottom Line performing their cover of ‘Teenage Dirtbag’, having a great time, and during Simple Plan’s ‘Crazy’, The Bottom Line guys were spotted by the band and also some fans running around the balcony… completely naked [thanks to Jenna for the info].

You can check out their final stage invasion along with ROAM during Simple Plan’s party medley on the video below:

Also, check out the full setlist of the Simple Plan show last night – as you can see, the band once again prolonged their set by adding ‘Thank You’ (because Callum from The Bottom Line requested it) to the mix as a surprise and also replaced ‘Perfect World’ once again with ‘Me Against The World’:

1. Opinion Overload
2. Jet Lag
3. Jump
(‘I Gotta Feeling‘ snippet)
4. I’d Do Anything
5. Boom
6. Welcome to My Life
7. Kiss Me Like Nobody’s Watching
8. Take My Hand
9. Thank You
10. Singing In The Rain
11. Party medley
(‚Uptown Funk‘ / ‚Can’t Feel My Face‘ cover)
12. Can’t Keep My Hands Off You
13. Farewell
14. Summer Paradise
15. Crazy
16. I’m Just a Kid

Encore:
17. Shut Up!
18. Me Against The World
19. This Song Saved My life
(no drums)
20. Perfect

And finally, some of the first pictures that already popped up online from last night’s SP show in Oslo, can already be viewed in the gallery. Check them out:

Simple Plan chose their opening act for Finland & Baltic dates: Blind Channel

Today at the show in Oslo, Norway, Simple Plan will be saying goodbye to their opening bands The Bottom Line and ROAM, who will not be continuing to support them for the four final dates.

The news regarding Simple Plan’s choice for their opening act for the remaining dates of this second leg of their European TOFTT tour [for which any European band could have applied for] was finally revealed today. In Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Simple Plan will be supported by the Finnish pop-rock band ‘Blind Channel’ – you can find out more about this band on their Facebook page.

Interestingly enough, Blind Channel were also named as one of the favorite local bands of MadCraft, who are the other opening act, who’s been already previously chosen, to support Simple Plan in Finland, now alongside Blind Channel. Madcraft have actually also recently released a blog, announcing their supporting gig for Simple Plan, expressing their excitement about this opportunity:

“Holy sh*t! That is pretty much the way we felt when we got the word that we would be opening for Simple Plan. This Canadian 5-piece is probably one of the favorite bands of any Pop Punk fan. Obviously, we are huge fans of Simple Plan as well.”

It is still not clear whether MadCraft are also supporting Simple Plan in the Baltic states.
