In the gallery you can now have a look at a bunch of amazing professional photos from the SMAC festival in Switzerland and the show in Turin, Italy [check out the setlist for Turin here], where they guys performed on May 15th and 16th respectively.
Simple Plan just reached the middle of the second part of their European tour, which kicked off in Stuttgart, Germany two weeks ago, and during which the band has already managed to perform in several other countries including Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Italy.
Check out the brand new vlog, which will show you some of the highlights of this part of the tour:
Simple Plan made their way back to Italy yesterday, where they performed to a huge crowd in Torino and according to Jeff, it was the best Simple Plan show of this second leg of the tour so far.
Thanks to Lavinia who caught the setlist we also know that Simple Plan surprised the local crowd with a very requested addition to the setlist, which they first tried at the festival in France – Me Against The World. But, instead of this song replacing Singing In The Rain on the setlist [as that was the case in France], the band decided to write off Perfect World and play Me Against The World instead.

Last night Simple Plan performed at their first festival, which is a part of this leg of their European tour – at Longlive Rockfest in Lyon, France and the local crowds were in for a really wonderful surprise! Simple Plan decided to replace their new single ‘Singing In The Rain’ with one of their old school rock tracks which the fans have not heard live in quite a few years – ‘Me Against The World’. However, it is quite possible that the band decided for this move only because this was a show at a rock festival and MATW fit the atmosphere better than SITR; that being said, we probably won’t see MATW on the upcoming regular non-festival dates.
Anyway, check out the full setlist from last night:

It looks like Simple Plan will be spending more time in the U.S. this summer! After the announcement from a couple days ago that Simple Plan would be playing an acoustic show for a radio station in Orlando, FL, the band just revealed they will also be partaking in the 100.7 Star Acoustic Sunday Funday in Pittsburgh, PA on June 26th.
Since there is a 3 day gap between the two already announced acoustic dates, there is a big possibility that more U.S. shows will be announced.
