VIDEO: Simple Plan say goodbye to Japan

In a new video, published on Simple Plan’s official Instagram, Simple Plan can be seen saying goodbye to Japan, where they just spent a week playing shows and the Punkspring festival. The guys can now enjoy the remaining days of April at home to rest and get their strength back before heading back on the road in the beginning of May, when they will be returning to Europe for the second leg of their European tour, with ROAM and The Bottom Line.

The Bottom Line to return as opening band for 2nd leg of Simple Plan’s EU tour

If there is one opening band that struck the most with the Simple Plan fans that attended the first part of their Taking One For The Team European tour, it was The Bottom Line. Tom, Max, Matt and Callum are the four members of this UK-based band, that made thousands of new fans thanks to this tour, on which they used a plastic boat to crowdsurf, played free acoustic sets after the shows for fans that stuck around and were friendly with everyone who came to say hi.

Even the members of Simple Plan expressed their love for The Bottom Line – Pierre told them they were one of the best opening acts they’ve ever had and Chuck still keeps wearing The Bottom Line’s merch, even when on tour in Japan.

And because of all that, it is now my big pleasure to announce that The Bottom Line will be returning to the European tour with Simple Plan – for its second leg, which kicks off in May, with the second opening band ROAM [as announced a couple weeks ago]. The Bottom Line will be playing on all dates, except for the date in France and both The Bottom Line and Roam also won’t perform in Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
