Simple Plan celebrate 14 years since debut album with new photoshoot

Yesterday, March 19th was the 14th anniversary of the release of Simple Plan’s first album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls. The band celebrated by posting a new photoshoot of the band by Chady and also shared the following message:

“Lots of milestones today. 14 years since NPNHJB came out and exactly 1 month since our brand new album “Taking One For The Team” was released. Pretty cool coincidence that says a lot about how we feel these days: we’re extremely proud of our past and what we accomplished and incredibly excited about the future and what’s next for our band. Let’s celebrate with a brand new band photo and by Chady, jamming some old and new SP all day.”

VIDEO: The Bottom Line & Ghost Town back on SP stage in Utrecht

Simple Plan finished their mainland European dates last night with the show in Utrecht, in Netherlands, which was quite the spectacle. Apparently once again, the opening bands The Bottom Line and Ghost Town got on the stage during the party medley and rocked out with Simple Plan – this time with clothes on. The Bottom Line & Ghost Town take over SP’s stage in underwear

As you could’ve already read in the recap article about last night’s show in Strasbourg, France, during the party medley, both of the opening bands on this tour – The Bottom Line and Ghost Town surprised Simple Plan by appearing on their stage in the middle of the set almost naked – just with towels wrapped around their body. The towels eventually came off, revealing the new line of Simple Plan’s underwear, which you can buy in their merch stand on this tour.

Simple Plan finished their short tour “across” France yesterday in Strasbourg, where they played for the sold-out La Laiterie venue. The guys once again performed the shorter setlist (without I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed) with just minor (usual) changes:

Back to old setlist in Lille, France
