Full day recap of show day in Cologne, Germany

Simple Plan returned to Germany last night with a sold-out show in Cologne‘s E-Werk venue. During the whole day, the guys took over their Snapchat account (simpleplanmusic) and updated from the moment they woke up all the way until the show itself.

As you could have noticed, during soundcheck, he guys invited one of their fans – Marco – to join them on the stage and play ‘I’m Just A Kid’ with them. And that wasn’t all – during this song, Pierre switched places with Chuck and played the drums for this song, while Chuck ‘played’ the guitar and tried to hype up the crowd. Thanks to Anika, here’s a video of this moment from the soundcheck in Cologne:

Facebook webchat: Simple Plan tease Singing In The Rain video for March/April

Today at 5:30pm CET, Simple Plan held a webchat on their Facebook page, in which all 5 band members answered a number of questions from their own fans, just a couple hours before their next show in Lausanne, Switzerland. Below you can check out a recap of the most interesting answers that gave us some new info:

– the music video for ‘Singing In The Rain’ should be coming out around the end of March or the beginning of April (however it is only an estimate so far)
– Simple Plan should be touring the United States in the fall
– new sports related Simple Plan items should be coming up to the official merch store very soon
– Jeff is thinking about getting a sleeve tattoo

Simple Plan to perform in Canada in the summer

Simple Plan’s first summer appearance in Canada has just been revealed (big thanks to Audrey for the info)! The band will be performing at Grizfest in BC, MusiFest in QC and also at the 10th anniversary of the Show de la rentrée Desjardins d’Acton Vale.
