Taking One For The Team to possibly include a hidden track

Simple Plan’s album “Taking One For The Team” is coming out next week (February 19th) and it seems the guys still may have some surprises for us!

According to the tracklist of TOFTT on the Finnish music store website Levykauppax, there should be a hidden track following the last song of the record “I Dream About You” (thanks Jenna for the info).

Hidden tracks are pieces of music that are placed on a CD usually after the last track of the album, which it is not being declared so on the album cover or the oficial tracklist. Previously, Simple Plan have featured a hidden track on some versions o their album “No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls”, which included the hidden song “My Christmas List” after a gap after the song “Grow Up”.

However as of right now, this particular Finnish site seems to be the only medium that claims there is a hidden track on the album [update: this Finnish site is also reporting so!]. There has not been any official confirmation about this from the band itself, nor we know what is this hidden track called.

Track By Track video: I Refuse

Simple Plan released another track by track video, this time around for the song “I Refuse”, of which we heard the first sneak peek yesterday. In the video, the band members talk about the song more extensively and reveal a longer preview of the song:

SNEAK PEEK: Simple Plan – I Refuse

Today’s sneak peek from “Taking One For The Team” is the song “I Refuse”, which according to Simple Plan is one of the heaviest songs they have ever written.

Check it out:

In my blood
In my veins
In my heart
I know what’s right for me

(So I refuse)
To apologize for who I am

(I refuse)
To ever let somebody say I can
I refuse
I refuse
I refuse

SNEAK PEEK: Simple Plan – Farewell (feat. Jordan Pundik)

Simple Plan just released the promised sneak peek of another song from their upcoming album “Taking One For The Team”, which is called “Farewell”. The song features New Found Glory’s Jordan Pundik and you can check out the preview right here:

After all these wasted nights,
I can’t pretend that I’m doing fine,
I played it back a thousand times
But now I see it and I realize
Th-That the damage is done and it’s obvious
