David cancels his appearance at schools due to minor accident

Because it’s almost Christmas and the guys like to spread some holiday cheer, David Desrosiers from Simple Plan, has been visiting many primary and secondary schools in Canada to talk to the local students.

However, on Tuesday, at 11am, David was scheduled to appear at École de musique Alain-Caron in Rivière-du-Loup, but after postponing the time of arrival three times, David was forced to cancel his appearance because of being involved in an accident near Cap St-Ignace.

While the details of the accident remain unknown, there is no need to be alarmed – David is okay. His fellow bandmate, Chuck, tweeted the following message to the fans: “For all those who were worried, David is fine. I just talked to him. All good.”

According to CIMT it is yet unknown if the event will be rescheduled.

On September 24th, David, Jeff, Pierre and Chuck got together in Montreal with a couple of charitable people who recently supported the Simple Plan Foundation and had dinner at the Le Muscadin restaurant. Yesterday Pierre published a picture of them all together and you can now check it in the gallery:

Last night, during the show in Valencia, Spain at the Under18 festival, Sebastien and David from Simple Plan decided their pants were too cool (or hot?) for the stage, so they literally took them off and performed about 3 or 4 songs just in their underwear (thanks Guilia and Diana for the info).

Q&A with Simple Plan (without Pierre) at Take40

Even though the band was forced to cancel their performance at Take40 due to Pierre’s vocal strain, the rest of Simple Plan – Chuck, Jeff, Seb and David still arrived at the event, and instead of a show had a little Q&A session with the fans, followed by spending some times with the fans in person, signing and taking pictures.
