Local release dates of the new album: Belgium, Netherlands and more!

Even though the official release date of the new record has been announced as June 21st, that doesn’t mean it will come out in every country on this exact date. The release dates depend locally on many factors: such as shipping and other stuff. You may remember that the third Simple Plan album was released in many countries even before the official release date (e.g. in the Czech Republic it was 1 day before).

But let’s get back to the upcoming Simple Plan album. Thanks to Gwen and Nath we’ve received an information that in Belgium and in the Netherlands the yet-untitled fourth SP record should hit the CD stores already on June 17th.

So far these are the only local release dates we’ve been informed about, but I’ll make sure to update you about more as soon as we get more info!

Also, if YOU already know when the new Simple Plan record comes out in your country, let us know!

Update:

Thanks to Clare for letting us know that in the United Kingdom the SP record comes out on June 20th! (source: Kerrang). Thanks to Vanessa the local release date for Germany should be June 17th.

New Simple Plan album on June 21st 2011

It’s official, ladies and gentlemen, finally!!!!!! After so many months of recording and all those other things through which we kept waiting and waiting, the official release date of Simple Plan’s 4th studio album is June 21st 2011!!!!!!

Yes, it’s still a bit far away, but better late than never, right?

Below you can check the video in which Pierre and Chuck (in LA) and Jeff, Seb and David (in Montreal) made the official announcement about their upcoming album. Apart from that they also talk about the fact that we may get to listen to ANOTHER SP song in the next two weeks (this time not YS@L), and then in the upcoming months we can look forward to loads of photos, videos and perhaps even the tracklisting of the album and most importantly tourdates!

After many years of waiting, the first snippet of the studio version of one of the songs from the upcoming 4th Simple Plan record is finally here: You Suck At Love (YS@L). You Suck At Love is all around

If you have been following SimplePlan.cz on Facebook and Twitter, then you must know that we’ve been waiting for the past couple hours for a huge surprise, which should be revealed on SimplePlan.com (according to the last reports it should be around 4pm EST). The boys from Simple Plan have already announced on Twitter that we should be expecting a new design of the official website, as well as a snippet of the new Simple Plan song: You Suck At Love (which we’ve heard in it’s live version countless times last summer) – and it looks like it was all planned so that the sneak peak of the song (which according to previous interviews with SP wasn’t even supposed to be a single) would be out around the St. Valentine’s Day.

Apart from these news, Simple Plan have also finally updated their official merch store, where you can now find a brand new You Suck At Love t-shirt:

What’s new with Simple Plan…

During last night, a new post by Amanda appeared on the Simple Plan’s official website, in which you will learn what exactly has been going on with Simple Plan lately and what we can expect from the upcoming days and weeks and also reveals the final version of the record should include 12 songs in total.

Things are moving along nicely in the world of Simple Plan. The band was in NYC this week to stop by Atlantic Records to play some new music for everyone and let me just tell you, holy crap are you going to be AMAZED! “This Song Saved My Life” is definitely a favorite.. along with 11 others. The guys also sat down to discuss touring, the first single, a release date and a brand spankin’ new website. Plenty more planning to be done, but all will be revealed shortly, I promise!
