Music video for “Boom” is heading to the finish line

The first music video from the upcoming new Simple Plan album, for the song “Boom”, which has been filmed on Warped Tour in the USA and then also subsequently in Montreal, Canada at the New City Gas venue in July, is almost ready!

According to the Instagram post of Chady Awad, Simple Plan’s photographer and also cameraman (and seemingly also editor) of “Boom”, the final finishing touches are currently being put on this new music video. Check out the latest sneak peek of it on the picture below:

Simple Plan stunned the crowd at Festivent

For the third time in their career, Simple Plan performed at Festivent Ville de Lévis in Canada last night and once again managed to amaze the local audience. During their performance, the band even pulled up one of the fans on stage to take a picture together, after she held up a sign saying she’s been waiting for 10 years to take a picture with them.

With this show, Simple Plan ended the kick-off of their tour cycle and their next shows will take place in Europe in less than a month. Check out the setlist from last night’s show at Festivent:

Simple Plan performed for free for their fans in Montreal

Last night, Simple Plan played for over 2000 people for free at the gorgeous New City Gas venue in Montreal, Canada, a show that was sponsored by Coca-Cola. At this show, the guys had the chance to perform their new song “Boom” for their home audience in Montreal and also make them a part of their upcoming music video for this song!

As you can see from the following video, after their performance, the band decided to involve the fans in the music video for “Boom” a little more and Pierre got into the middle of the crowd, where he sang to the recorded version of Boom with the fans jumping behind him:

Simple Plan continue filming a music video for “Boom”!

The members of Simple Plan are currently back in Montreal, Canada where they will be playing a free show later today, but in the morning they decided to continue working on their upcoming music video for their new single “Boom”. The band already filmed a couple of scenes for the video on Warped Tour, but according to Pierre they will be adding some more scenes shot in Montreal today.

Final Warped Tour dates: Detroit and Chicago

Sadly, Simple Plan’s short stay in the United States is over. The guys finished their Warped Tour appearance with the tourdates in Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL on Friday and Saturday and will now be heading to Canada for their more upcoming concerts there.

It’s fair to say that the reactions to Simple Plan shows – both from the attendees and also from the organizers – have been extremely positive. Not only have they been called the best live band on Warped Tour this year on many occasions, but also Kevin Lyman, the founder of Warped Tour, for took the time to state on Twitter the following: “Two words describe Simple Plan: “class act”. New bands can learn from an organization like them.”
