This Wednesday, on May 27th, David Desrosiers from Simple Plan attended the event celebrating the 2nd anniversary of a Montreal bar La Champagnerie.

Canadian singer Andee-Anne Leclerc, who goes by her stage name Andee, released her debut album “Black And White Heart” yesterday, May 26th. To celebrate the release of the album, which she has worked on for many previous months alongside the producer of the album: Sebastien Lefebvre from Simple Plan, Andee held a release party at the concert bar La Sala Rossa in Montreal, Canada this Monday.
Many guests showed up to support the 24 year-old singer and her new record, including Sebastien and Jeff from Simple Plan. In the gallery, you can check out a couple of pictures of the two band-mates together at Andee’s release party:
Simple Plan have finally come to the final point of the recording process of their fifth studio album, which they’ve been working on for the past year and half and recording for the past 3 months. After tracking all their songs, it has now come the time to mix them. Mixing is a process of blending all the individual tracks in a recording to create a version of the song that sounds as good as possible.
The guys decided to use the knowledge and mixing skills of a person they relied on for the past few years – Chris Lord-Alge, who mixed Simple Plan’s last two studio albums (Simple Plan and Get Your Heart On!). And it was today when the guys got to hear the first mix of their new album. Check out some of the new pictures from the studio, including the ones from today featuring Chuck, Jeff, Pierre and Chris:
After their two shows in Canada, Simple Plan finally returned to Los Angeles, where they started working on the final part of the recording process of their upcoming fifth album.
And that means not only the guys are back at work, but also back with their studio updates. For now, you can check out some of the first new shots from the studio after the little break and hopefully we can expect some more studio vlogs next:
