Yesterday, Chuck met up with Gareth Emery, the English electronic dance music DJ before his show at the Made In America festival in LA. Check out their picture together below:

As you’re already aware of, Pierre and Chuck are currently back home in California, where they are devoting their time to song-writing for the next Simple Plan album. That’s why they couldn’t be in Montreal yesterday with David, who celebrated his 34th birthday. Instead, the boys decided to congratulate him via the Internet and published a selfie on Chuck’s Instagram with the following message:
Taking a quick selfie break to wish our amazing bandmate and friend David Desrosiers a very Happy Birthday! Party hard buddy! Now back to work!

On Tuesday, David, Jeff and Sebastien appeared in the Kiehl’s store in Montreal, where the company launched its new product – a facial cream, whose sales will help out the Simple Plan Foundation. The boys also did a Twitter chat with their fans through the Kiehl’s Twitter account that day. Here are some new additions to the gallery from that day:

While David, Jeff and Sebastien are busy promoting the collaboration between Simple Plan Foundation and Kiehl’s and the upcoming acoustic concert, the boys on the otherside of North America are just as busy! Pierre and Chuck, who currently reside in California, are deep at work with writing songs for the upcoming Simple Plan album. As a proof, Chuck posted a brand new picture of their session yesterday, in which you can see Pierre laying some vocals on one of the demos, as the boys always tend to record all the written songs as demos, so they have an idea how the song should sound like and then bring these demos to the studio to make better versions of them with the whole band.

At last night’s concert in Toronto, Canada, Alan Poettcker from the Canadian band These Kids Wear Crowns was seen wearing a Simple Plan t-shirt, and therefore supporting the band that TKWC have toured with a couple times in the past (Music Matters in 2011 and Canadian tour in 2012) and with whom TKWC have co-written songs a year ago.
Check out the picture Jen sent in of Alan awesomely sporting the SP t-shirt yesterday:
