The first annual presenting of the Alternative Press Music Awards took place on Monday, July 21st, and Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan was there as a special guest of Idobi radio to interview bands that also attended the event.

Yesterday Chuck headed to Cleveland, Ohio to attend the inagural Alternative Press Music Awards, which features performances of many contemporary alternative bands and also many members of the bands from the current music scene are there to attend this event.
Last night, Chuck already got together with a few people you might have heard about and together they took an “Oscar selfie”, which apart from Chuck also includes for example Jack Barakat and Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low, Vic Fuentes from Pierce The Veil, Jordan Pundik from New Found Glory, Kellin Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens, Kevin Skaff from A Day To Remember and more!

While one of the new two-part project that Jeff Stinco is currently involved in – Lorbeer – opened its doors last Thursday, the customers still have to wait a few more weeks till the second part – restaurant Laurea – is completely finished and ready to server mediterranean inspired meals.

Ever since the beginning, the members of Simple Plan have never been into sharing their private life on social media and always asked their fans to respect their privacy.
However, yesterday, Pierre decided to break the silence about his family and start opening up to the fans about this part of his life – at least via a few pictures and videos. In a series of tweets, the lead singer of Simple Plan explained why he’s never talked about his private life online and what made him change his mind, and also added the first photo of his own family – wife Lachelle and daughters Lennon and Soren – that he’s ever posted for the fans to see, and later also a video.
“I’ve always been a little reluctant to share my personal life online. I’m not sure why but I guess I felt I needed to protect my loved ones. But lately I’ve realized that I don’t really care if people know who my wife is, or what my kids look like. There’s no real threat. And if I don’t share that part of my life, then I’m not really sharing who I am. And that’s kinda boring…. So on that note… Get ready to enter my life. The real me. And get ready to be bombarded with cuteness cause my girls are cute as hell. These are my peeps. I love them. And I can’t live without them. <3”
