It’s been apparent for the past couple of months (or rather years) that David Desrosiers has gotten himself a new obsession – motorbikes. After a couple of trips to the US on his motorcycle, he is currently back in Montreal, where he was spotted yesterday by a fan (thanks CSP for the info) attending the “Salon Moto de Montreal” event, which is a motorcycle exhibition.

On Thursday, February 27th, the “Garage à musique” project of the Fondation du Dr Julien received a $10 000 donation on behalf of Ubisoft and the Simple Plan Foundation.
According to the press release, the finances will be used for “le lab à musique” (a “music lab”) which allows the youth to learn to explore their own musical universe and to work with the basics of music, in addition to gaining experience in the studio.
During the event at Garage à musique, Sebastien and Jeff from Simple Plan presented the check and also had a little jam session with the local children.

As you’ve already been informed a few months ago, a young Canadian band called Amasic, who’s previously opened for Simple Plan and the members have been Simple Plan fans for a very long time, is now coming up with a brand new EP, which will also feature one song – which will be called “If I Had One Dollar” – that has been co-written by Pierre and Chuck from Simple Plan.
Amasic have already finished recording of the EP and are starting to reveal new bits of information about it. Recently, the band posted a picture from the song-writing session that took place in 2013 – that features Pierre Bouvier from Simple Plan along with Amasic’s lead singer Janick Thibault. Via his Twitter profile, the Danish song-writer Peter Wallevik has announced that he is currently co-writing with Pierre and Chuck from Simple Plan for their upcoming fifth studio album. Peter Wallevik has previously worked with artists such as Kylie Minogue or One Direction.

The 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia are over and since Canada’s male hockey team has yet again managed to score the gold medal, Chuck decided to proudly represent his country and sported his Canadian hockey jersey today. Check out the picture he shared via Instagram:
