In the past couple of months, apart from his shows with Simple Plan, Sebastien has always managed to find some time for his solo projects and also to work with other artists as well. And these projects are definitely paying off! His latest collaboration – Wilfred Le Bouthillier’s new single “Je m’y perds” (co-produced by Sebastien) has been on top of the Top 10 list of francophone songs played on the Canadian radio for the past 4 weeks according to ADISQ! Congratulations!

And because Simple Plan have currently no upcoming shows (or at least not for the next few weeks), Sebastien now has the time to resume his work with a young Canadian musician Andee Leclerc, who he’s been working with on and off for the past couple of months already along with his brother Jay. Check out this new picture of Sebastien from today working on some songs with Andee:

And it was not only during the soundcheck when Simple Plan let someone join them on stage yesterday in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce! During the actual show, Simple Plan invited a member of Amasic, one of the opening bands, called Matt McCormack, to play during I’d Do Anything with them, while David was crowdsurfing. Check out a picture of this moment in the gallery:

And here is a video of Matt subbing on bass for David during the show:
Simple Plan finished their so far scheduled shows for the summer in the little city in the Quebec province called Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce at the event organised alongside the competition of speeding trucks. For a city that small (Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce has only about 4000 inhabitants) can such event surely have a major impact – at least according to the reporter of TVA, who said so in her video-interview with Sebastien. “A few people have who told me that too. It’s very flattering, for sure, but we’re happy to go anywhere. So if we can make the event this year, it’s for the better,” replied Sebastien Lefebvre.

And as alwayws, Simple Plan definitely made many of their fans’ days in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce. Among them – Gabrielle (who some of you may remember as the girl with a Simple Plan tattoo from the TSSML video) – asked the band if she could sing with them on stage during the soundcheck and lo and behold – her dream came true! Check out the following picture of her and the Simple Plan guys together rocking out on stage:

More pictures from the soundcheck can also be found in the gallery along with one picture of Pierre backstage:
