Jeff and Seb attending Guignolee du Dr Julien
The 10th edition of the “Guignolee du Dr Julien” event is taking place today in Montreal, Canada. The event tries to raise funds for children in need through the Foundation of Dr. Julien. The visitor of “Guignolee du Dr Julien” will be able to take part in various outdoor activities, pony and carriage rides, street hockey games, face painting and the children can also enjoy the visit od Santa Claus.
For a couple of years now, the members of Simple Plan have been supporting Foundation of Dr. Julien through their own Simple Plan Foundation and Sebastien and Jeff visited a couple of these events in the past few years (check out their visit of the event in 2010), so of course they couldn’t miss the opportunity this year again. In the gallery you can now check out the first pictures of Jeff and Seb from today, doing an interview for 95.1 FM at the Guignolee du Dr Julien event.
More details on David’s accident
As I’ve informed you yesterday, David was involved in a minor accident on Tuesday, when on its way to visit the students of a primary school in Rivière-du-Loup.
According to infodimanche.com, the accident happened on Autoroute 20 (a major highway in Quebec) was light and without any consequences neither for David nor his car. After the accident, David continued to Matane, his hometown. Even though David didn’t manage to visit the students, he promised to reschedule for another time in the near future.
That day David also apparently visited the Au Coin de l’Oeil optician’s (where his father works as an optician) to pick up his new glasses. Check out a picture of David in Au Coin de l’Oeil.
Pierre and Chuck in Xmas sweaters backstage at The Big Jingle
Now here’s somehting you don’t see everyday. In the backstage area of The Big Jingle in Toronto, where Simple Plan performed a few days ago, Chuck and Pierre switched their plaid flanels for Xmas sweaters to take part in MuchMusic’s holiday cards (you can check out the Simple Plan one here). The boom of animated gifs has apparently reached even TV stations, and MuchMusic also decided to release a couple of animated gifs of all the performers at The Big Jingle, “playing with snow”. Here is the one of Pierre and Chuck:
