Here is another preview of the Simple Plan book “Simple Plan: The Official Story” – this time you can check out the design of the front page of the 3rd chapter, which is dedicated to Simple Plan’s second album – Still Not Getting Any:

Yesterday morning, the English version of the upcoming SDimple Plan book – Simple Plan: The Official Story – has been officialy finished and it went print the same day.
Als, the members of Simple Plan received yesterday for the first time actual first copies of their book and Seb and Chuck posted some photos of them on Twitter (you can see Chuck’s on the left). In the next few days, the boys will be doing tons of interviews and book signings.
The book will be coming out on November 8th in French and then on November 22nd in English. These are the only language versions to be released.
The book will contain 304 pages documenting the complete history of Simple Plan, including hundreds of never-seen pictures.
You can pre-order the book to every country in the world. For more info, makes sure to read the special section about this book – Simple Plan: The Official Story.
The boys are currently trying to figure out a way how to get the book to more bookstores in the whole world, not just in Canada, but that could take months (if it even happens), so the safest way how to make sure you’ll get the book asap is to pre-order it from Canada.
The publisher of the Simple Plan book – La Presse – posted quite an interesting article about the book and sums up the history of the band. In the article, Chuck also mentions the fight between him and Pierre that broke them off for a while in the times of Reset (way before Simple Plan has been formed).
“We are still pretty uncomfortable talking about it, because it was a big fight that lasted a year and a half or two years. We could have decided not to speak, but I would say that for me, personally, this may be an incident that taught me the most. I often think about it, because it taught me that because of your ego, excessive pride, anger and badly-chosen words, it is possible to lose precious things in our lives and destroy something fantastic.“
You can read the full French article here.
And the link below will lead you to the gallery where you can check out a full version of two pictures published by La Presse within the article, that should be included in the book:
