Amazon.ca, one of the retailers of the Simple Plan book, recently published the image of the front and the back side of the cover of the French edition of Simple Plan: The Official Story.

Yesterday, Chuck and Sebastien met up with Musique X (thanks Charbel for the info), a project who’s main goal is to inspire youth to play music. The young people were able to ask the members of Simple Plan questions and some of them also showed the band their talent in a jam session.
After the visit, Chuck tweeted the following message: “Amazing visit at Musique X tonight, an organization helping out youth of Mtl-North by giving them free access to musical instruments! So cool to see so much talent in our community and kids finding a passion in life! Congrats guys!”

As promised, Simple Plan have released the first preview of the insides of the Simple Plan book: two pages about Roach. What is Roach, you say? Roach was the name of the band that Pierre, Chuck and one of their friends were in from 1993 to 1995 – therefore even before Reset was formed. Due to the fact that Simple Plan have mentioned Roach only in a very few interviews in the past (and mostly very vaguely), this double-page will most definitely be one of the most treasured in the whole book as it shows the fans a never-heard-before part of the story.

After a day of wondering what song will be used in the music video produced by MTV EXIT and Simple Plan, we might have just gotten our answer!
Although neither of the parties has yet confirmed it officially, there is a post on the MTV EXIT blog that was made today and that says “LOW RES 003 SIMPLE PLAN TSSML MTV EXIT 16×9” and we all know what TSSML has always stood for: This Song Saved My Life.
However, it is yet unknown whether the song is the band’s actual new single or if it’s only used as a background for this video.
Simple Plan and MTV EXIT will be premiering the music video for it tomorrow, on Friday, November 2nd – and here you can check out another promo poster for this special premiere, revealed by MTV EXIT, that features a clapperboard with the title “A Simple Plan” and Ash Bolland stated as the director.
The one-month-long Simple Plan tour across South America could not have finished any better. The boys were utterly stunned by the last show of the tour that they had last night in Quito, Ecuador. “Ecuador! I gotta be honest…you surprised us big time! We never expected the show to be this amazing! Wow!” declared Chuck on his Twitter after the show.
The band played in Quito for 4000 fans who traveled from every corner of the country just to see them perform. You can now check out a couple of first pictures from the concert and also three pics from the backstage from yesterday:
