MTV EXIT and Simple Plan to premiere exclusive music video on Friday!

While in Vietnam earlier this year, where the band played a free benefit concert in Hanoi for more than 40 000 people, the next day, Simple Plan filmed a special documentary about human trafficking in this region for MTV EXIT.

The documentary already aired a couple times on MTV Asia, but so far the rest of the world was unable to watch it.

Now MTV EXIT has finally come with some news regarding the documentary! According to their Twitter, they plan on premiering this Simple Plan special by the end of this year on the Internet and also, there will be a special Simple Plan & MTV EXIT announcement coming this Friday!

Update: MTV EXIT has just revealed a promo poster for the special announcement, saying that on Friday, November 2nd, Simple Plan and MTV EXIT will be premiering an exclusive music video! You can check out a sneak peak of the screencaps from it below:

PHOTOS: Arriving to Ecuador

Yesterday around 5pm, Simple Plan landed in Quito, Ecuador, where they will be playing their last show of the tour across Latin America today.

And after a few days of generally calm fans waiting at the airports in Argentina, Peru and Chile (compared to Brazil), the guys experienced another airport madness in Ecuador. Sebastien later posted on Twitter that it’s probably “the most “out of control” place the band has ever been to”.

This is what @SPEcuador said was the cause of the craziness: “The people of the airport decided to open the emergency door, so then everybody moved to that door and things went out of control! The guys got into the van and asked the people to do a row, but everybody was nuts, so they had to leave. Before that Jeff did an interview to two channels through the window [of the van]! It was totally crazy! When the van left people started running after it.”

Pierre apologized to the fans that they couldn’t stay longer, as security told them to leave. But yet he again, he immediately revealed the name of the hotel the band would be staying in Ecuador and invited fans to come and have things signed and pics taken with the members of SP.

Halloween 2012: Simple Plan style!

Halloween is here again! Simple Plan have always been quite fond of this holiday and even dressed up into costumes a couple times during live shows. For example last year they surprised their crowd in Pomona, CA in the United States when they dressed as their alteregos “Plan!” and played the encore in the sexy tiny outfits you can see on the picture on the top.

And even though October 31st is still a couple days away, I already got a few submissions from fans, who sent me pictures of their Simple Plan styled jack’o’lanterns they made this year (you may remember I made a post about this on SimplePlan.cz also last year) – so here they are! After a full month of travelling and playing shows, Simple Plan’s South American tour is slowly coming to its end. Today the guys are leaving Guatemala and heading to their last stop in Ecuador and after that they will finally be going home for a well-deserved rest.
