For the second time in their career, Simple Plan appeared yesterday, on September 1st, at the Gatineau Hot Air Balloon Festival, that is accompanied every year with live concerts for the visitors. This year’s visitors had the chance to enjoy Simple Plan’s last show before their return to South America (in a month). The visitors’ reviews of the show were raving about SP’s performance, two of them even got a little kiss from David on stage and the band itself acknowledged that the show was really awesome and Chuck already “can’t wait for the next summer”.
You can already check out some of the first photos from the Gatineau festival in the gallery:

And just to close up this Gatineau-related post, below you can watch a short interview with Chuck that was recorded yesterday at the festival, and where Chuck says a little bit more about the band’s collaboration with the Canadian Space Agency:

Currently Simple Plan have a huge amount of projects lined up for the end of the year – the main reason behind them is the celebration of the 10th anniversary since the release of the band’s first album – “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls” which came out in 2002. These projects include a book (that is to come out in November), a DVD and an EP with unreleased tracks. But that won’t be all!
