More signs from fans – this time at Simple Plan’s show in Sweden

Yesterday, Simple Plan came back to Sweden – a place Chuck always wanted to come from and was even “mad with his parents for not being Swedish”. The guys apparently even showed their love for Sweden in a long speech during the show. Of course the speech was mostly about IKEA…

Before they even started with the first song on their setlist – “Shut Up”, the excited swedish crowd greeted them with a bunch of signs – this time saying “Your Songs Saved Our Lives”.

And thanks to Emelie you can now look at the first couple of pictures from the show in Stockholm, Sweden in the gallery:

Worth mentioning are also the following four photos, published by a Swedish eyewear company called Vasuma, that gave a couple of their products to the guys from Simple Plan to wear:

Simple Plan today at a studio in Helsinki, Finland

The guys just can’t help it but tease us with little tidbits of information about all the secret projects they are currently working on. Today, Chuck let the fans know via Twitter that the band has spent the afternoon (right before today’s sold-out show) in a recording studio in Helsinki, Finland.

There is no information about what exactly the guys were doing in the studio and what they are working on, but it may have something to do with the secret recording session in Italy, that we’ve learned about a couple weeks ago. It could also be related to the upcoming EP that should include some of the unreleased songs written for Get Your Heart On! or it could also be something completely different. Let’s just wait and let them tease us some more. Hopefully we’ll get some more info soon.

Below, you can check out a picture that Chuck added to his tweet and on which you can spot Pierre working in the studio:

How Happy Birthday became We Will Rock You in St Petersburg

For the first time in their career Simple Plan performed in St Petersburg, Russia, yesterday, where thousands of fans welcomed them in a local theatre. During the show (just like in Moscow), the fans surprised the band with hundreds of little small airplanes (symbolizing Jet Lag).

Simple Plan also did a little rendition of the traditional “Happy Birthday” after finding out it was one of their fans’ birthday, which just in a couple of seconds turned into “We Will Rock You”. You can check out both these awesome moments from St Petersburg on the videos below:

By the way, the person who recorded the video from Jet Lag also recorded the entire show from this fantastic angle and with a decent sound, so if you want to remind yourselves of what a Simple Plan show looks like, check out this YouTube channel.

And also the first photos from St Petersburg are already in the gallery:
