Concert in Eindhoven, The Netherlands

Yesterday, as a part of their European tour, Simple Plan stopped in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, where they played for hundreds of local (and also not-so-local) fans. During soundcheck, the guys surprised their fans from the SP Crew with their own rendition of Wonderwall by Oasis.

This concert was also very special because of the number of opening acts: Simple Plan had not only their permanent openers We The Kings there, but also the bands Destine and MakeBelieve.

3 new photoshoots of Simple Plan

Server 7jours.ca recently revealed a few old & new photoshoots of Simple Plan, and you can now check them out, without tags as always, in SimplePlan.cz’s gallery.

The first photoshoot of 4 members of the band is from 2011 and was done by photographer Eric Myre. This man also photographed Pierre back in 2008 – and from this photoshoot we have one picture of him. And the last photoshoot I have for you today is one addition to the series of photos made for the Le Soleil magazine by Andre Pichette and Bruno Petrozzaz in 2007:

Simple Plan on the NRJ radio station in France

During yesterday, the guys from Simple Plan had visited a few radio stations and gave lots and lots of interviews – all that before their big concert later that evening in Paris, France. One of the radio stations that had the honour to have the boys was NRJ – the same station that hosted the NRJ awards earlier this year, where Simple Plan along with Marie-Mai won the award for the best francophone duo/band of the year.

First francophone shows in Europe: Geneva and Paris

Simple Plan continue touring Europe and in the last few days stopped by two other European cities for some amazing shows. First, it was Geneva in Switzerland. This show surprised us with no professional pictures due to the fact that the area in between the stage and the barricade was nonexistant, so there were no photographers taking care of some viewing material for us. On the other hand it was very appealing for the fans, who could stand much closer to the band, with their arms leaning on the stage. It was the total opposite of what the fans in Barcelona had to endure (as you could see on our Facebook page), where the barricade was taller than them, making them feel like in a cage

After Switzerland, Simple Plan have appeared in France, where they played for a sold-out Zenith in Paris. The 6000 fans also greeted Marie-Mai as a surprise guest during the french version of Jet Lag.

First official still photo from the Summer Paradise music video

The director of the Summer Paradise music video, Randall “RT” Thorne, who spent a few days with Simple Plan and Sean Paul last week at Barbados recording it, asked the SP fans on Twitter today to let him know whether they want a sneak peak of the new music video – and if so, to reply to him – and when he gets 20 replies, he’d post the first official still photo from this music video. Thanks to the cooperation of the fans, we got what we wanted and now you can check out a sneak peak of what we can expect from this video:
