New photoshoots of Simple Plan

As a bit of a late Christmas gift, I present you three new photoshoots that you can now find in the gallery:

The first one is a photoshoot, taken by Fontaine in Paris, France on August 29th – yes, on David’s birthday. You may remember some of the shots as I’ve posted a few of them a few months ago, but now you can check out the full photoshoots:

The second photoshoot comes from 2006, again from France, when Simple Plan were photographer by Mielniczek in January:

And last, but not the least, here are some never seen before photos from Italy by Paolo Bagatelli, from February 17th 2005:

Apart from these photoshoots, you can now also find in the gallery a few photos from the Babu & Dale photoshoot from London back from April 2008, which you’ve already seen but now it’s available with much smaller tags.

Here is exclusively the official artwork of the new Summer Paradise single, that is being promoted in Australia (thanks a lot to Marly). This is the 3rd official single off Simple Plan’s album Get Your Heart On! How do you like it?

New original photos from the Get Your Heart On! photoshoot

Thanks to my colleagues over at SPB.com here are a few amazing new original photos for the booklet of the Get Your Heart On! album. Some of them you may have seen already on each of the different versions of the official website, on which the guys did a complete makeover of themselves to look like bands like Wham!, The Ramones, RUN DMC and The Beach Boys. Now you can check out all these photos, including the original version of the one used on the front cover of Get Your Heart On!, in the gallery:

Even this next update will be related to Mark Staubach’s work. Below you can check out (thanks SPB.com) a just released picture of a sketch of the astronaut’s station from the storyboard for the Astronaut music video, that Mark Staubach did with Simple Plan earlier this year. The sketch is a work of the artistic director Tyler Jensen:

Simple Plan on Christmas Jingle Jams in the USA

In the last couple of days, Simple Plan have returned after a short break back to the United States to perform on two Christmas radio shows – the so-called Jingle Jams. The whole band performed a normal set on the first one in v Indianapolis, but on the second one, yesterday in Memphis, the band was scheduled to play only an acoustic show, which is why Chuck flew to Miami and did not attend this event. The rest of the guys played their show in Memphisu and before that also met a few of their fans on the meet&greet organised by The Q radio station. Now, thanks to my friend Bruna you can check out her awesome pictures from this meet&greet and then also pictures from both Jingle Jams:

Pierre and Sebastien have stopped by The Q radio station a couple days before the last Jingle Jam. You can check out the interview with them below::

And what are Simple Plan’s plans for the rest of the year? The guys are now getting back to their families to spend the Christmas holidays with them and till the end of the year they still have one scheduled show to perform at: on the New Year’s Eve show at the Niagara falls!
