New Twitter photos

Recently, the guys added lots of photos via their Twitter accounts. Pierre changed his default pic after few months and also added one picture, where he shows how excited he is to be in Nashville. Next, there is also one photo fo Frenchie, which was posted by Fred (Barnik) and finally one pic of Kovi, Patrick’s dog – Patrick even set up a special Twitter account for her:

By the way, in his most recent tweet, Pierre said he might be “twitcaming” (making a videochat) today – so don’t forget to follow him in case he suddenly tweets he’s really doing it. :)

Simple Plan help cancer victims again

Our colleagues from SPB.com found one picture of the members of Simple Plan with Marc Normandeau and we managed to find 2 more! Marc Normandeau is a 14 year-old-boy, who despite having relapsed with his acute lymphoblastic leukemia and now still suffering from chemo side effects, decided to start his own foundation “Marc Normandeau Fund”, which helps the Oncology Department in The Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Simple Plan met Marc in The Montreal Children’s Hospital earlier this year (check the last photo) and on September 4th Sebastien and Jeff visited him again and even invited him to the beneficial event, that Simple Plan foundation held in September. On this event they donated raised money t different organisations and one of them was The Montreal Children’s Hospital, which has received $10 000 as a support of their music therapy program.

By the way, Marc helds on August 2nd 2010 an event called “All Star Golf Tournament” in the Whitlock Golf & Country Club. The visitors will have a unique chance to play golf with celebrities like the senator Jacques Demers, members of Simple Plan, Aloutte players Anthony Calvillo and Ben Cahoon, NHL players, Alex Burroughs, Andre “Moose” Dupont and many more! All the proceeds will go to the Montreal Children’s Hospital
foundation.

The time flies by so quickly and we’re already in the middle of Sebastien’s small tour in Canada. The day before yesterday, Seb performed in Quebec, yesterday in Trois-Rivieres, today he has a show in Sherbrook and tomorrow home in Montreal. And even though we don’t have any concert pics yet, thanks to Twitter we have loads from before and after the show.

The photos are from Frenchie (who played on various musical instruments during Seb’s show, while Seb played the acoustic guitar), Frank (Frank Joly is a mixing and live engieneer) and from Fred (Barnik – graphic designer) and they are all photos from yesterday: from the drive to Trois-Rivieres (Sebastien was driving), from the soundcheck and from the dinner after the show:
