As we’ve mentioned few times in the past. some of the Simple Plan fans organize from time to time a fundrising event to donate money for Simple Plan Foundation. And here are some more of these grateful people:
Wrestling show
Vanessa Guénette has organized a Wrestling Show, completed by many other activities, that took place in Valleyfield, in August 2009, and raised $1 752. She was proud to present the cheque personally to the members of Simple Plan, at the Metropolis, September 24th.
Piece the world
Michel Legault has also made a donation of $900, as a result of the Internet auction where autographed pieces of a giant puzzle were sold.
These two new donations add to the $1 100 raised by the bowling evening organized by Jessica Supple and to the $1 850 raised by the second benefit show put on by Valérie Thorn.
The Simple Plan Foundation thanks warmly all these fans who decided to involve themselves personally in a fundraising event and can only encourage them to continue supporting its charitable causes.
Apart from that, the official Simple Plan website published a photo of all the band members, who attended the first anniversary of the “One Brick At A Time” campaign for War Child. Thanks to this campaign, by selling bracelets, there was raised enough money to build two schools in Kongo.

Few months ago, we pointed out there there is something going on on Pierre’s right side of his waist. Something that looks like a new tattoo!. But Pierre was able to keep his little secret for a pretty long time. Till now.
