Simple Plan one of the co-writers of All Time Low’s new song

For the American band All Time Low it has always been a dream to play alongside bands who’s music they practically grew up on – and Simple Plan have always been on the top of the list. Their dream came true in summer 2010, when along with Simple Plan and other bands they played together many shows across the USA and few festivals in Europe. We can only guess that somewhere along the road, the impuls to write something together must have come.

The song “Time Bomb”, which will be featured on the new All Time Low’s record “Dirty Work”, and which the band started playing live only few months ago and which leaked online in its studio version only weeks ago, has been confirmed to be a masterpiece by not only All Time Low, but partially the members of Simple Plan too! The lyrics to the song have been written by Alex Gaskarth (lead singer of All Time Low), Pierre Bouvier and Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan, and also Matt Squire, who’s also worked on some other lyrics for Simple Plan on their upcoming album.

It’s very interesting that the authorship of Simple Plan has never been mentioned before even though the guys have supported the release of All Time Low’s Time Bomb from the very first day. Pierre told Alex in one of their Twitter conversations that he’s “loving the new song #TIMEBOMB”.

Now here’s a question… could All Time Low collaborate also on some Simple Plan’s lyrics? Could that be one of the top-secret collaborations we’re all dying to find out about?

Make sure to check out the All Time Low’s “Time Bomb”, co-written by Pierre and Chuck, along with its lyrics below:

PHOTOS: Faber Drive collaborate with Simple Plan

As you already know, the canadian band Faber Drive invited the boys from Simple Plan – namely Pierre and Chuck, to help them co-write some songs for their upcoming third studio record. Yesterday, the boys met again and this time also published a short article about it on their blog and added two photos from a 10-minutes log video of their writing session – hopefully we will once get to see it too:

Yesterday we met Chuck and Pierre from Simple Plan at our hotel and spent the afternoon and evening in one of the rooms working on a new tune. We have nothing but awesome things to say about those guys and their talent as writers!! Stoked for their new album coming out soon!

One thing I noticed was how crazy fast the sun goes down here. We shot a 10 min iPhone vid of us working and below is a screen shot of the start of the video, and one of the end of the video. It pretty much went from daylight to night in about 10 min flat!!!

Pierre bubbletweeting again…

Pierre shas decided to show the world his new haircut from a closer look, talk about where he currently is, what’s going on and what’s gonna happen in the next few months – and all that in his latest Bubbletweet, which you can either watch in its bubbly form here or straight in its full size (with a badly synced audio though) below:

Pierre and Chuck again co-writing for Faber Drive

Simple Plan and Faber Drive go way back. Practically since 2008 when Faber Drive and Metro Station opened for Simple Plan on their big Canadian tour. In the following years, the fellow Canadians stayed in touch: first, Faber Drive invited Pierre to co-write lyrics to some songs on their second album “Can’t Keep A Secret”, which turned out to be the songs “G-G-Get Up And Dance” and “Our Last Goodbye”.

Plus, it’s been only few months since we’ve informed you that the members of Simple Plan – Pierre and Chuck – are yet again collaborating with Faber Drive on some of their new song-lyrics.

The third studio album by Faber Drive is still not done and it appears that the members of Simple Plan will not stop by writing just one song with/for them. Few days ago, Chuck scared his Twitter fans a little bit by pointing out he’s back in studio with Pierre, even though their album should be completely ready. Apparently they “love song-writing”. But don’t you worry: Simple Plan’s album is indeed done and (hopefully) we are not expecting any more postponing. But then again, what were they doing in the studio? The studio mystery has been solved yesterday, when Dave Faber from Faber Drive posted that he’s in LA writing more songs for FD’s upcoming album, and again he’s co-writing with Simple Plan:

Pierre celebrates tweet no.1000

Mr. Bouvier has been lately apparently very much into composing songs about pretty much anything that has happened to him… so after the most recent Twitter song, which celebrated his 90 000 followers on Twitter, he has now se published a Bubbletweet in order to celebrate his 1000th tweet.
