Simple Plan on Takamine guitars promotional poster

Thanks to Jackie for letting us know that recently a promotional poster for the Takamine guitars, that features Simple Plan, appeared in a guitar magazine in the US. You already know the picture on this poster Pierre’s MySpace, though, this one is in a higher resolution. On the picture you can see Pierre throwing his Takamine guitar to Frenchie, who later catches it backstage. The poster also includes a quote from Pierre himself:

“I know that I can always depend on my Takamine to sound great no matter what I do to it.” – Pierre Bouvier

Takamine guitars are in Simple Plan used not only by Pierre, but also by Sebastien (who uses the same type as Pierre – TF450SMSB) and Jeff (who uses the type EF341SC).

Here we have another interview from the Bamboozle Roadshow with Seb and Pierre, which was taken again in Simple Plan’s tourbus. You all definitely need to check out this interview… mostly the hilarious 1:37 moment, which might remind you of a certain interview from Moscow ;)

What’s new at Simple Plan…

As the Bamboozle Roadshow is finally over, the Simple Plan guys now have plenty of time – the whole summer and a part of fall – to record songs for the new album. But before the guys officially hit the studio again, they have to narrow down the written songs (about 50-60) and choose those that will appear on the new album. Chuck said he’s currently re-working all the songs to make them better and chosing the best ones. Along with that, the guys are also recording demo versions of the songs so that they have an idea how the songs are going to look like when they’re finished.

The boys should hit the studio hopefully in the next couple of days – which means more vlogs and photos from the recording coming up and maybe even some sneak-peaks of the new songs. And if everything goes by the plan, the new, yet untitled, Simple Plan album should be released on the beginning of 2011.

Here is finally the promised huge update in the gallery. There are new photos from the recent shows in Portsmouth, Hershey, Uniondale and Mansfield, then pictures of the bands with fans in Portsmouth, photos of Pierre watching Forever The Sickest Kids, one picture of Alex and Jack (ATL) with Pierre on the stage with Good Charlotte and also amazing photos from the afterparty in Uniondale, where you can see Simple Plan hanging out with other bands.

Bamboozle Roadshow is over

Three days ago the Bamboozle Roadshow, a tour across many American cities, which Simple Plan (along with other bands) was a part of, ended with a concert in Mansfield, OH. With the end of the tour, the guys made the last Bamboozle vlog, where they reveal their plans for the next few months: recording of the new album with few breaks for shows in Canada, China, Italy and Austria (about which we’ve informed you earlier):

The end of a tour usually brings some final surprises from the bands to the fans. And the Mansfield show wasn’t any different: during the last Good Charlotte’s show, Jack and Alex from All Time Low and Pierre from Simple Plan jumped on the stage to sing with Good Charlotte a part of their song “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”. And they all ended their performance with a group hug. Check out the video below:
