The French version of the book is currently available for pre-order at:

Amazon.ca for $30.58

Release date of the French version of the Simple Plan book revealed!

Thanks to SPB.com, we’ve learned that Simple Plan’s upcoming book that the band has been talking about for many years now – but mostly have been working on it in the past few months, entitled “Simple Plan: The Official Story” is already available for pre-sale at Amazon.ca (so far only in its French version though – but have no worries, the book should be available both in English and in French) with the official release date being November 6th 2012.

The price of the book at Amazon is 30.58 CAD.

The story in the book has been written by the journalist Kathleen Lavoie and the whole book will include a complete history of the band, never-seen-before pictures and stuff that the band has kept for the past 12 years of their career (10 years since their debut album).

“It’s amazing. It will be every true fans favorite item,” said Pierre, who has recently read the final chapter of the book.

Pierre reveals the title of the upcoming Simple Plan book!

During the live broadcast of last night’s show in Rio, during the last moments backstage, Pierre was quickly interviewed by the reporter for Multishow and was asked about the upcoming Simple Plan book that the band has been working on in the past couple of months (and is to be released in November) – in which Pierre surprisingly revealed its title for the first time.

The book will be called: “Simple Plan: The Official Story” and you can check out Pierre revealing the name by yourself in the video of the FULL beautifully shot concert in Rio de Janeiro from last night on YouTube (thx @theoldschoolboy):

Sneak peek of the Simple Plan book: backstage passes

Simple Plan’s graphic designer Fred Jerome revealed to his Twitter fans a picture of a part of the collection of Simple Plan’s backstage passes throughout the past 12 years of their existence. The collection should be a part of the upcoming Simple Plan book that will be released this November (and if you’d like to know more info about it, read this article)

Simple Plan book to be released mid-November

The works on the upcoming Simple Plan book that has been the most talked-about project of the past couple months, are still going on: Chuck is working on the book even on his days-off on tour.

The book (that will be available in both English and French) will feature more than 300 pages of photographs, artefacts, history of the band and more. The story will be written by Kathleen Lavoie, who revealed to fans on Twitter yesterday, that even though she doesn’t know the exact release date yet, she thinks the book should be out in mid-November.

Chuck also mentioned yesterday that the book should be available worldwide. Here are his recent updates on the process of his pet project:

“Still working extra hard and overtime on the SP book! Hands down the biggest, most ambitious and toughest project I have been involved in. I think you guys will absolutely love it! We poured our hearts and soul in it! It’s gonna be something I will show to my kids one day! Honestly can’t believe how SICK the photos taken by, Patrick Langlois, Chady Awad, Sim and Mark Staubach are! They rock! Also got to give props to our great writer Kathleen Lavoie who has immersed herself in the history of the band and is doing a killer job! And obviously, can’t forget the man putting the entire book together and making it all look AMAZING – Fred Jerome – best graphic designer!”

More details about the book should be coming very soon!
