On Monday, January 25th, Simple Plan will be filming the music video for their upcoming new single in Montreal with the help of some of their fans and the band has just revealed that the song they chose for their next single is the album’s first track “Opinion Overload”!
From a recent interview, we already know that “Opinion Overload” should be one of the songs on the album that fall into the “rock” or “100% Simple Plan” category – with big guitars and powerful choruses. This may be exactly the type of single, most Simple Plan fans have been waiting for. Are you excited to hear the track? :)
We all know that acoustic versions of songs can make the song sound completely different. And that’s exactly what Pierre wanted to try out last night when he performed Simple Plan’s new single “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” acoustically at home and subsequently posted a couple videos of it on Instagram.

Simple Plan decided to premiere their new music video for the song “I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed” feat. Nelly a little early – exclusively for a few chosen and very lucky countries yesterday, who get to see it in advance. However now you can all finally see it officially here:
Now to the video itself – as we expected from the many sneak peeks, the guys took inspiration from the 90s hit TV series Baywatch, and not only immitated the show in their video, but also managed to get the major star of the show, David Hasselhoff, to play himself in the video! “Getting David Hasselhoff to actually be in it, that is the most epic thing ever,” says Pierre to ET Canada. “When I heard that he agreed to do it, I was blown away and so excited.”
