In my blood
In my veins
In my heart
I know what’s right for me

(So I refuse)
To apologize for who I am

(I refuse)
To ever let somebody say I can
I refuse
I refuse
I refuse

Simple Plan published the first official sneak peek of “Opinion Overload”

In the last couple of days we already had the chance to listen to a few sneak peeks of Simple Plan’s new single because of its videoshoot , but only from afar and not officially. And while we still have to wait one more day to hear it in its full version – “Opinion Overload” will be released exactly at midnight EST tomorrow on Friday, February 5th – Simple Plan decided to tease us with the first official sneak peek of the studio recording.

Check it out!

Update:

Thanks to our read Lewis I found out that the website DJshop.de, where you’ll be able to purchase the song, already offers a much longer (over 1:30 min) version of the sneak peek of “Opinion Overload”! Check it out here.

Length of “Opinion Overload” revealed & more info

iTunes has recently updated their store’s page regarding Simple Plan’s new album “Taking One For The Team” and gave us another tiny little clue about the upcoming new single. The length of Simple Plan’s first track on the album, “Opinion Overload”, for which the band shot a music video last Monday (and which is expected to come out either this or next week) will be 3 minutes and 19 seconds. So far that makes it the longest track on the album (that we know of).

But that’s not all we know about “Opinion Overload”! Pierre and Chuck wrote this song along with the song “Nostalgic” with the song-writer Nate Campany, who is one of the very few song-writers from the long list of those Simple Plan have worked with on this album, who’s efforts actually made it to the album.

WHO IS NATE CAMPANY?

Nathaniel Campany, is an American pop song-writer and indie musician, who currently resides in Los Angeles. Besides his interest in Scandinavian pop music (he’s written for the finalists of both the Norwegian and Swedish Idol), he has also worked with a large number of international artists such as Christina Aguilera, The Backstreet Boys, Carly Rae Jepsen, Adam Lambert, Owl City and The Summer Set.

Are you excited to hear “Opinion Overload” soon?
