Pierre appears in new ‘felt emo again might delete’ skit with Tony Hawk

Are you seriously craving some emo content? Look no further! We got you covered! Or rather… Matt Cutshall does.

Matt Cutshall, who grew to fame on social media in the past few years after publishing various video skits titled “felt emo might delete”, in which his current blond self turns into his former emo self once more and does all sorts of emo things, sometimes even involving many emo-related people. You may recognize him from this video feat. Alex and Jack from All Time Low.

And apparently Matt wasn’t done with the pop-punk/emo icons there. In his most recent video, published today, Matt once-again appears as his emo self, alongside his girlfriend Arielle Vandenberg – and also two icons of the emo kids – Pierre Bouvier from Simple Plan and professional skateboarder Tony Hawk. We won’t spoil the plot for you, but let’s just say that it turns out Pierre and Tony have more in common than just their fondness of skateboarding.

Pierre covered Montreal Canadiens’ goal song

For a new video published on the official YouTube channel of the Montreal Canadiens’ ice-hockey team, Pierre Bouvier was asked through the platform Cameo to record a message for the Habs fans and also to cover the team’s goal song.

The video is in French, but we’re sure you’ll be able to appreciate it none-the-less:

Chuck Comeau joins Cameo

After Pierre Bouvier joined the Cameo platform (which allows fans to request their favorite celebrity to record a short message, shout-out or a greeting for a small fee) last year, the fans now have a unique opportunity to request a video message from another one of their favorite Simple Plan members! Yes, indeed. Chuck Comeau, the drummer, song-writer, and let’s face it – the real manager of the band, decided to give Cameo a shot as well.

And how else would Chuck promote his Cameo than by asking his pal Pierre (through Cameo!) to record a special message for his Instagram followers that they can now find Chuck there as well. In the video message, Pierre said some very nice things about his oldest friend and also decided to perform a little bit of blink-182’s ‘Going Away To College’, given it’s Chuck’s all time favorite song. Check out the full video below:

And what exactly were the reasons why Chuck decided to join Cameo? Read his full comment about Cameo below:

“I’m on Cameo!

Yes, it’s official! I’ve decided to join Cameo and what better way to make this announcement and celebrate than getting a cameo for myself from my favorite artist of all time and best friend since I’m 12 years old, the one and only Pierre Bouvier! 🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩

I don’t want to get too corny, but his video made me feel pretty emotional. I’m so grateful to be in a band with such a talented, generous, and kind guy who genuinely cares about his friends and fans so much. He even performed my fave song of all time for me, something he does in all his cameo videos. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I have to be honest and admit that I was pretty skeptical about Cameo at first, but after watching and reading all the incredible reactions to Pierre’s videos and seeing the amazingly positive impact he’s had on people, I’ve changed my mind.

I’m really looking forward to connecting with all of you, hopefully bring a smile to your face and make your day a little better, celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or big achievements for you or for someone special in your life, offer some life advice, maybe some guidance if you’re in a band or trying to make it as a musician, and try to bring some hope and motivation if you’re going through a tough time and need a little inspiration.

So, if you want, hit the link in my bio and see you on Cameo. Can’t wait to hear from all of you. 🙌🏻

Thank you again Pierre and thanks to each and everyone of you for your amazing and unconditional support over the last 20 years. I appreciate it more than words can say.”

Pierre receives a video greeting from Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray) on Cameo

Ever since April, Simple Plan’s lead singer Pierre Bouvier joined thousands of well-known personalities on the online platform Cameo, where for a small fee, anyone can ask for a video greeting from their favorite celebrity. This way, Pierre was able to make hundreds of fans smile with his short clips – whether it was to say happy birthday or just hi. Pierre also never forgot to play a song dedicated to the person for whom the Cameo video was made for.

Last night, Pierre decided to switch things up and this time around it was him who asked one of his favorite musicians, Mark McGrath from Sugar Ray, who is also on the platform, for a short video, since Sugar Ray were the first band to bring Simple Plan on tour and gave them the perfect ground to kick off their career and Pierre and the whole band have been very grateful to Mark. Through his IGTV, Pierre shared his reaction to receiving this clip from Mark and also the clip itself. Check it out below:

Simple Plan & other artists performed a new collaborative version of ‘Summer Paradise’ on Music Matters Live From Home

In the current climate, when getting together as a band is fairly impossible, the Singaporean music initiative Music Matters decided to bring artists back together – at least over the miracle that is the Internet.

Pierre and Chuck from Simple Plan took the role of hosts of a special collaborative livestream today on Music Matters‘ YouTube channel, where they were joined by the Australian band Sheppard, singer Quest from the Philippines, American rapper Lil J, Singaporean singer Rriley and Indonesian singer Teddy Adhitya. In the beginning, all artists introduced themselves and Pierre and Chuck kept the conversation going by quizzing them about topics such as productivity and creativity in isolation and then also introduced their music by playing a few clips from each of the artists’ songs.

The highlight of the livestream however was when all the artists presented the special collaboration they did together on Simple Plan’s song ‘Summer Paradise’, hence creating another version of this popular summer hit. According to Pierre, Sebastien started it by recording his guitars and then passing it onto Pierre, after which Jeff and David did their parts, Chuck added the drums by slapping his knees, after which the rest of the artists added their own flavor to this special version of ‘Summer Paradise’.
