Report: Simple Plan live in Vienna, Austria
Simple Plan returned on stage with a bang and played a fantastic show in Vienna, Austria last night. Before the show started, the members of the SP Crew were treated with a soundcheck from which I bring you 4 videos of some very special songs. Firstly, the guys did a very interesting experiment and played something they called “Astro Lag” – a song that features the lyrics from Jet Lag and the music from Astronaut. Check it out on the video below:
The guys also played two more songs that they rarely play live these days: Last One Standing and Save You. You can check them both out in the videos below:
Also, David switched his place with Chuck during Gone Too Soon at the soundcheck and you can see a part of this performance here:

In the past couple of months, Sebastien along with his brother Jay have been working really hard on Wilfred LeBouthillier‘s new album, which they finished a little while ago. Now that Wilfred’s first single off the record – Je M’y Perds – came out, it was time to introduce it not only it’s audio, but also the recording process behind the song. In the video below you can check out Wilfred recording Je M’y Perds with the help of Seb and Jay, who are also featured in the video (thanks a lot Justine for the info)::

Chuck records a video message for Fiction In Motion
You may remember a band called Fiction in Motion that won the Ebay auction held by the Simple Plan Foundation back in 2010 to have a chance to record with Simple Plan’s most recent producer – Brian Howes. But unfortunately, Fiction in Motion have decided to stop playing together and last Saturday performed for the very last time as a band at the Fiest Apo festival.
Today, the festival released a video message recorded by Chuck Comeau from Simple Plan, giving some final encouraging words to the boys in Fiction in Motion. You can check it out along with an English translation (thx Nathalie) of it below:
