Here’s finally a video of Rivers Cuomo’s appearance on stage with Simple Plan during their performance of Can’t Keep My Hands Off You from today in Tokyo, Japan. To see the CKMHOY bit, go to 3:41 mark. I’ll still be on a look out for a better video – mostly for some that has Rivers’ lines in it, but in the meantime enjoy this:

Simple Plan backstage in Tokyo, Japan
Simple Plan are already in the middle of their Japanese tour and today they finally arrived to Tokyo, Japan, where they are playing their third show at PunkSpring festival later today. The guys have already mentioned that they have some special surprises in store for the show in Tokyo – one of which being the live collaboration with Taka from ONE OK ROCK, who was recently featured on the Japanese version of Summer Paradise and who’s band is also playing at Punkspring today.
The guys from Simple Plan also finally hopped onto the bandwagon called Vine which is a new app that allows you to share short videoclips through your mobile phone. Chuck posted the first one today when the boys were on their way to Tokyo:

Vine is currently very popular in the community of bands, so there’s no wonder that we can spot the members of SP also on other band’s Vine videos. The one below was created by Sugarcult’s lead guitarist Marko DeSanti and shows you the backstage of Punkspring in Tokyo, Japan:

We also already have a bunch of pictures from today – from SP’s arrival to Tokyo and from backstage where the guys yet again got to hang out with not just a bunch of bands but surprisingly also with Tom – who those of you from the MySpace generation will remember as the only friend we all had in common:

Simple Plan Harlem Shake in Indonesia
A couple weeks ago when Simple Plan visited Indonesia for the appearance at Viva La Vida, during a ride in a van, Chuck, Seb and Jeff were asked if they heard about Harlem Shake. If you don’t know, Harlem Shake is a viral trend that appeared online a few months ago (we even did a SP fans’ style Harlem Shake on a recent fans’ meet-up!).
The guys decided to answer the reporter’s question with their own Harlem Shakem, which you can check out on the video below, which documents the arrival and behind the scenes of Simple Plan in Jakarta, Indonesia (thanks Ady and @SimplePlanID for the link):
MTV EXIT releases TV spot for Simple Plan’s documentary in Vietnam
Last year in May, Simple Plan visited Vietnam for the first time, where they played a free concert organised by MTV EXIT, an organisation that tries to spread the word about the situation of human trafficking and exploitation in the world.
Apart from the concert, the guys from Simple Plan also visited a village called Sapa in Vietnam, where they met the local people, played a little acoustic show for the children and got to know more about human trafficking.
MTV EXIT has recently released a video which also includes a TV spot for Simple Plan’s documentary that was filmed in Sapa, Vietnam and which recently aired in Thailand. In includes some never-seen-before footage from Simple Plan’s trip there and you should definitely check it out. If you don’t wanna watch the whole video, the SP part starts at 0:20:
