Jedward covers ‘Perfectly Perfect’ by Simple Plan

John Grimes, who along with his identical twin Edward forms the popular singing duo Jedward (contestants in the British version of X Factor in 2009), recently published a new video on Jedward’s official Twitter, featuring his cover version of Simple Plan’s most recent single ‘Perfectly Perfect’.

Pierre, Seb and Chuck publish new comedy sketch from tour

Simple Plan’s humorous videos have been entertaining us for many years now. Whether it was through the A Big Package For You DVD, YouTube videos (e.g. Pierre’s Day Off, Chuck Comeau: A serious man) or shorter Instagram videos (e.g. the Titanic video), the guys have always found some funny ways to make their fans laugh.

The newest comedy sketch filmed by Chady, which features Pierre, Seb and Chuck has just been released. And what are we gonna call this one? Probably “Deer poop”. Check it out below:

Life on tour. Thanks @seblefebvre and @chuckcomeau and @goodguychady

Simple Plan celebrate Callum Amies’ birthday on stage in Pratteln

After Rock Am Ring, Simple Plan headed to Pratteln, Switzerland yesterday, to perform another show which is a part of their No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls 15th anniversary tour. Many international fans gathered there to witness this concert and enjoy yet another stunning show. And what a show it was indeed!

Loud crowd, great atmosphere, untied shoelaces someone tripped over (right, Pierre?) – all that was a part of the show at the local Konzertfabrik Z7 Bleibt venue. But that wasn’t all of it. Since it was their new technician’s Callum Amies’ (who you better know as the lead singer of The Bottom Line) 25th birthday that day, the guys first wished him all the best at soundcheck and then took the time to do it again in a much bigger way – right in the middle of their own show. Check out their Instagram story from this moment below:

Of course, as this concert was a part of the No Pads tour, Simple Plan went from the festival setlist back to the classic No Pads setlist, which we’ve already seen in Berlin and Hamburg. Check it out below:

Jeff and Seb revisit their high school in new episode of Sucré Salé

As it was previously advertised, Jeff and Seb returned to their high school College Beaubois last month to film a special episode of the show Sucré Salé, hosted by one of their former high school mates Stéphane Leclair.

Three videos (in French) from the two guitarists’ visit have been released on the show’s Facebook page, which show the boys getting confronted with their graduation pictures, yearbooks and grades. Below each of the videos, thanks to our reader Clémence, you can now find a short recap of what’s been said and even some of the conversations in translation:

1. GRADUATION PICTURES

Jeff and Seb are introduced to the “wall of fame” (“wall of shame” according to Jeff), which features pictures of all former graduates of College Beaubois. Both Jeff and Seb agreed that all members of the band, who are pictured on this wall (Pierre, Seb, Jeff and Chuck) pretty much still look exactly the same. Well… except for Jeff.

2. YEARBOOKS

The second video leads Jeff and Seb to a classroom, where they shown their old yearbooks. Each of them reads the other’s description in their yearbook, which is usually been written by another friend:

Jeff reads about Seb: “Seb is the kind of sarcastic, positive and optimistic kid.”
Seb: “I didn’t change.”
Jeff: “You look like your daugther on this picture or maybe, your daugther looks like you..”

Seb read about Jeff: “From the begining, your destiny was to become the megalomaniac of this school. And you and I (Jeff’s best friend, Vincent), we’ve learned to each choose our own path, while still remaining together. You will be the best souvenir I’m taking from my high school. What would I have done for 5 years without you in Beaubois?”
Jeff: “It’s almost a love letter.”

1. GRADES

And finally, in the third video, Jeff and Seb are confronted with their high school grades.

Jeff: “We want to know who was the best…”
Host: “One of you had 86.3 and the other 86,2…”
Seb: “We are both excellent.”
Host: “Who had 86.3?”
Seb: “I think it’s you because i had 50% in a religion course because of a fake research I made.”
[it is not said, who’s result was who’s]

Host: “Comeau…. 88.3”
Jeff and Seb: “Whoaaaaaahhhh”
Seb: “The only difference betwen Comeau and us is that he studied 1000 hours more than us…”

Host: “Pierre Bouvier… 80.9”
[Jeff and Seb pretty much agree that that’s more than they thought]

[After that, Jeff and Seb make fun of Chuck for spending his evenings by studying]
Seb: “We had fun, we had friends…”
Jeff: “We had a social life. He had nothing.”
