This Thursday, Simple Plan finished their summer Canadian tourdates at their final festival stop for a while – at the Fair at the PNE event in Vancouver, Canada. The boys performed to roughly about 7000 people at the PNE Amphitheatre and it was quite the spectacle!

Simple Plan performed in Acton Vale, Canada

After their last week off before a couple weeks of touring in Canada, Asia and Australia, Simple Plan once again united in Acton Vale, Quebec, where they performed an outdoor show under a large tent during the event called Show de la rentrée.

According to the fan reports, the show was packed – from young fans to the older ones (Adel reported that two couples of over 60-year-olds were seeing very much enjoying the show next to her :)). The whole event was very joyful and the fans seemed very respectful and in good spirits, not pushing each other and overall creating a good and relaxed atmosphere.

The band played a very similar setlist to their European one, even performing Farewell and also a French version of Jet Lag.

Before I’m Just A Kid kicked off, the boys once again invited a couple of fans, who celebrated their birthdays that day, up on the stage to take a group picture with the band and the crowd. Somehow, over 20 people eventually ended up on the stage, and with everyone remaining cool, it created a lovely moment. Check it out on the video Anne-Sophie sent us:

Oh, and a Czech flag has made an appearance at the show too!

Thanks to Adel and a couple more of you, who attended the show, you can now check out some awesome first pictures from this show to really soak up all the atmosphere. Enjoy:
