VLOG: 500 fans at the airport in Mexico City

The day before last night’s Simple Plan show in Mexico City, the band arrived to the capital city of Mexico, and as it’s become pretty popular over the past few years, the band was greetedby a heard of fans at the airport. And if only it was a heard! According to the boys, as much as 500 fans showed up at the airport, forcing the airport security to advise the band to escape via private exit. However the band assured the security they can handle the fans and that they would like to see them.

VIDEO: Simple Plan soundcheck for first show in Mexico

In just a couple of hours, Simple Plan will kick off the first show of their 4-concerts-long tour across Mexico – in the city of Merida.

The band will perform at Coliseo de Merida and as you can see from the video below that Seb posted on Instagram, the band had already done their souncheck at this venue and it looked like this:

Simple Plan record video messages for Australia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Fusion camps

When the whole band recently met up in Winnipeg, Canada, before opening for Blink 182, the members of Simple Plan took some time to record a couple of video messages for some of the countries they’ll be touring next plus a special shout-out to Fusion camps.

VIDEO: David shows his inner lip tattoo for the first time & more footage from SP’s day in Fort Collins, CO

On July 9th, Simple Plan played a free acoustic set for 99.9 The Point in Fort Collins, Colorado and one of the organisers of the event, 99.9 The Point’s host Jared Goldberg filmed a vlog throughout the whole day, documenting Simple Plan’s visit. In this video, the band members got asked what tattoos each of them has on their body and for the first time David showed his previously talked about inner-lip tattoo, which reads “GRRR” [see in in the video at mark 4:49].
