Simple Plan just released another behind the scenes video from the making of their hilarious photoshoot for the ‘Taking One For The Team’ album cover and this time around you can check out how well the guys managed to pretend to be professional soccer players.
Simple Plan returned to Germany last night with a sold-out show in Cologne‘s E-Werk venue. During the whole day, the guys took over their Snapchat account (simpleplanmusic) and updated from the moment they woke up all the way until the show itself.
Thanks to Emmsy who put the Snapchat videos from yesterday together, you can now check out a full video that documents a day in the life of Simple Plan on the road:
As you could have noticed, during soundcheck, he guys invited one of their fans – Marco – to join them on the stage and play ‘I’m Just A Kid’ with them. And that wasn’t all – during this song, Pierre switched places with Chuck and played the drums for this song, while Chuck ‘played’ the guitar and tried to hype up the crowd. Thanks to Anika, here’s a video of this moment from the soundcheck in Cologne:
And in the gallery, you can have a look at some of the first images from this show in Cologne:
To celebrate 100 000 followers on their official Instagram account (@simpleplan), Simple Plan just released a new funny video, in which they show you how they show you how exactly the celebrations of hitting this important milestone looked like on the tour. True story. Check it out:
Today at 5:30pm CET, Simple Plan held a webchat on their Facebook page, in which all 5 band members answered a number of questions from their own fans, just a couple hours before their next show in Lausanne, Switzerland. Below you can check out a recap of the most interesting answers that gave us some new info:
– the music video for ‘Singing In The Rain’ should be coming out around the end of March or the beginning of April (however it is only an estimate so far)
– Simple Plan should be touring the United States in the fall
– new sports related Simple Plan items should be coming up to the official merch store very soon
– Jeff is thinking about getting a sleeve tattoo
After Prague, Simple Plan headed a little to the south to Vienna, Austria, where they once again played at the Gasometer venue. I was also present at this particular show, so I managed to get you a little glimpse at the soundcheck which you might enjoy. There, the band (minus Pierre) performed the song ‘Everything Sucks’ to the lucky soundcheck attendees and around the middle of the song, Pierre joined the fans under the stage (after been hugged by tons of fans) and rocked out to his own band while taking selfies.
Check out this hilarious video below:
