RECAP: Simple Plan live in Paris

On Wednesday night, January 13th, Simple Plan finally performed at the Paris In Live event at the Warner Music France headquarters in Paris, France. Before their show, the band announced to their fans the big news that they their new album is finally 100% completed and that it will be coming out in almost a month (February 19th).

Simple Plan then played a short set, which was composed of the following songs:

4. Welcome To My Life
5. Shut Up
6. I Don’t Wanna Go To Bed
7. Boom
8. The Rest Of Us
9. Loser Of The Year

To really get into the atmosphere of last night’s show, check out the following video which captures the song “Perfect”, which was accompanied by a surprise from the fans, who help up signs that said “Merci” (“Thank you” in French):

VIDEO: Simple Plan discuss types of songs on new album

Simple Plan’s new album Taking One For The Team [more info here] is coming out next month (February 19th) and with the release date getting so close, the band keeps on revealing more and more about their latest musical effort.

In the newest video they posted on Facebook, the members of Simple Plan discussed the types of songs the listeners will find on the new album, which will include pop-punk songs, love songsa, ballads, break-up songs, love-making songs and all sorts of other songs you’d both expect and wouldn’t expect from Simple Plan. VIDEO: Simple Plan perform Canada’s national anthem at Winter Classic

For 70 000 spectators at the Gillete Stadium in Foxborough, MA and for tens of thousands of other viewers all over the world, Simple Plan performed for the first time in their history the Canadian national anthem “O Canada” at the start of the Winter Classic game between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens.
