European fans – time to get really excited for next week!
Simple Plan posted the following message on their Instagram yesterday: “We got some pretty exciting show announcements coming next week! Can’t wait to share with you!” which they accompanied with the hashtag #NPNHJBtour.
Now, while that may sound as a pretty vague message to some people, not revealing the exact place where in the world this tour is supposed to be taking place, if you really think about it, it’s really not that hard to figure it out.
As of right now, we already know Simple Plan are heading out on a tour in Canada next month, after which they kick off the first part of the No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls tour in the United States. That tour will last until almost the end of April after which the band will very likely have some time off. The other already announced dates in Simple Plan’s schedule then include three European festivals in June (UK, Czech Republic and Austria) and given that Simple Plan have previously stated that they want to bring this special tour all around the world and we know they are working on tourdates in Europe, it’s not too hard to put two and two together. There is no doubt that these tourdates will be regarding the long-awaited European tourdates of the NPNHJB tour.
This also ties nicely with yesterday’s revelation from the Italian promoters, that there will be some cool announcement coming up on Monday. While it is unknown right now whether the band plans to unveil all the tourdates on Monday as well, it seems very likely.
